In the time of Covid 19, there are many safety precautions set up. Each patient is the only one in the room. Staff wear safety PPE and change it after taking care of each patient. Staff are friendly and professional. The Activity staff offers newspaper, books, arts and crafts and games. There are virtual programs and classes to watch on television too. Rehab staff is patient and very encouraging.
The food is delicious and not your typical institutional fare. Place is clean and well-kept. This is a small hidden gem of a rehab.

The surroundings are nice and it is clean. That's the only thing good about it. The staff is non-responsive. My Dad, 90 years old and legally blind, fell out of bed 3 times (we had told them he needed the bed alarmed for this reason and they ignored us). He had to crawl to his room-mate's side of the room to get him to call the desk. The staff was not responsive when you pressed the call button and they were also very rough when trying to reposition my Dad. Within 3 days of being there, we had to take him to Newton Wellesley ER for head CT scan and due to severe dehydration. Newton Wellesley staff were horrified at his condition. We never brought him back there. He died shortly thereafter due to dehydration which led to brain encephalopathy.
