My relative was there for rehabilitation. She had been there a few times prior to 4/20 and had good experiences. She was there 6/22-7/22 and it has been a terrible experience. They lost her denture, her clothes and discharged her and sent her home without her walker, resulting in 2 falls. We have found her in a wheelchair that belonged to another resident. The communication is terrible. If we could get calls through to her ward they frequently got disconnected. Messages left for individuals in various departments were not consistently returned. Do not recommend.

I have had many experiences with loved ones in a skilled nursing facility. Heritage Hall West by far has been the best! My Brother in law was a patient there very recently and the care and attention he received was top notch! The staff, including the Executive Director were on top of and in most cases ahead of everything at all times. I knew each day after a visit that I could leave there feeling confident that he was in very capable hands! The facility was spic and span and the caregivers were very friendly. He received Physical therapy as well as Occupational, and Respiratory therapy. The Therapy team was extremely thorough and made him feel like he was the only patient they had. Great place and the only one I would go to if need be. A+++++++

I was quite impressed with the care my sister had received at the Heritage Hall West Facility, in Agawam, MA. My sister was there, for probably just over a year, but died about 2 years ago at the age of 50. She was born a "little person" at only 3 1/2' tall. She developed several complications due to her stunted growth, I believe, but the care she received at Heritage Hall was wonderful. The staff went to great efforts to make sure she was comfortable, clean and always had clean clothes to wear & bedding. They encourage her quite often to get out of bed and change her scenery. My sister's husband, also a "little person" resides there too and the staff celebrated their anniversary. Several staff members came to her funeral, which mean't so much to my sister's family.
