Two areas are seriously in need of improvement: Food and medical services. For goodness sakes, please improve the food! Good tasting, nutritious food is critical! Regarding medical services, two physicians and one nurse practitioner are simply not enough for a facility of Brooksby's size. You need at least one more full time physician. Why can't Brooksby hold onto female physicians?!

The Brooksby Village was lovely, there are several buildings there, and the facility was beautiful. The woman we met with was nice. They offer everything there is to offer. They have a gym, they have an indoor pool, they have recreation and card rooms, and billiard rooms. It's a very large place. We saw the smallest apartment, which was a one-bedroom apartment. It was not large, but it was adequate for people.

Brooksby Village had independent as well as assisted living. I liked that it was gated. The one-bedroom apartment was pretty OK. It had a den and the den made it spacier and I liked that. They had nice buildings. Everyone seemed very nice, and the place seemed clean. You just have to buy the home before you can move in. The staff during the tour was very nice. The meal I had was good. The facility was good. That's the #1 on my list so far. If I had to choose among the ones that I've seen, so far, I would choose Brooksby Village. They had swimming, exercise classes, and a pool table. Some of the apartments had a balcony and a small washing machine and dryer.

My mom has moved into Brooksby Village. We chose it because it's really nice, and it's got the continuing care aspect. She's in independent living. If she ever needs assisted care, she just has to move her apartment. They have nursing home care, too. The food is excellent. She has just moved in last week. They didn't allow anyone in for the longest time, and I think they said they had one case. Now people go in, and they just wear masks.

I know people who live in Brooksby Village and they think it's great. I thought it was too big for me. It has long corridors. It's going to be a long walk from the apartment to the dining room. They have 1,800 residents, and it's overwhelming. They have the younger age group, like 60s to 70s. That's what I was looking for because I'm as active as a 67 years old. It's a nice place, but it's expensive. Everything has to be paid in extra. If you want something done like having someone to handle your medication pills, you pay extra (which I guess is alright because it's an affluent place, and the people that are there are on the wealthy side). The grounds were nice, and they have a beautiful courtyard. There's plenty of amenities, and the food was very good. You dine with linen tablecloths and waitresses that were dressed. The people who cooked there weren't cooks, but they are chefs. It's an upper bracket place. They have a medical staff, a nurse, and a little dispensary, so that was a plus.

We're in Brooksby Village. We have a huge unit, it has a full kitchen, and there are five restaurants here. During COVID, they did very well with keeping people safe and everything. The restaurants just opened yesterday. There are all kinds of activities -- a pool, a jacuzzi, and a huge gym -- everything you can think of. They have a CVS, a bank, a dentist, a medical center, two grocery stores, and a pub right in here. Basically, the unit that we're in is 1400 square feet. The staff is wonderful. The restaurants are serviced by kids from high school who are working towards scholarships. There's a big scholarship fund here. The food was good before COVID. During the shutdown, it was all delivered to your door. We ordered it and pre-ordered it, and I think they had trouble with the chef because the food wasn't coming in that good. It's getting much better now. You can go to the restaurants now, and they've got five different menus. Tonight, I'm going to the restaurant for the first time, so I think things are looking up. There are three huge buildings here: 100, which is Town Center; 200, and that's Kingsbury Court; and Building 3, which I'm in, which is McIntosh. Each building has four separate building centers attached, two on one side and two on the other side, so there are twelve building units. I can go from here at McIntosh all to way to Town Center, which is fast and all indoors. They have all-glass bridges that go from one building to the next, so you never really have to go outside if you don't want to. It's very, very clean, and the upkeep outside and the grounds are beautiful. It's ninety acres. The layout is wonderful because if you're older, and there's really bad weather or snow, and you want to go all the way over to Town Center, you could go from building to building without ever going outside. They have all these beautiful, all-glass bridges that go across. Facility-wise, they have a full gym, a huge Olympic pool, a jacuzzi, all kinds of games, a putting green, bocce ball, game rooms, music rooms, a library, and two hair salons. There's plenty of activities every single day. There are clubs, and you can even start your own club; they'll even give you money to start it up.

I went to Brooksby Village, and I decided I wasn't interested. This was when the virus wasn't so bad, so they had a time when you could look at the facilities. I was looking at independent living and asking about assisted living and memory care, and for independent living, it would have been for myself and my husband. I found that it was expensive, putting so much money down, and that the units were not that large. Their memory care, when needed, already had a waiting list, and that was extremely expensive. The staff was very nice. I saw the dining area, but with Covid, I would not be interested in doing that. The staff was very good. The facilities looked nice and clean, but there were way too many of them for me. It was a very large scale community.

I went to Brooksby Village yesterday. I was very impressed, it was a very good place, and possibly for me. The staff was extremely professional, well trained, they had a big sales office, and it was a big place. It was huge, and they had every possible program you could ever want. I saw one unit, a one-bedroom with a den. It had a living room, a dining area, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a den. It was very nice, and they do them all over before somebody moves in, and you have all kinds of choices on the decoration. You can choose your paint, and you can choose your floor covering. The one I toured had carpeting on the floor, but I don't want carpeting on my floor, I'm an oriental rug fan, and I wanna bring my orientals from home. It was a little bit steep up front. They had four restaurants, one in each building, but I didn't share a meal. It was very well planned.

Brooksby Village is spectacular, but it's huge, it's like a city, and it's way too big for my father. The facilities are beautiful, the dining area, the food, and the staff is spectacular, but it's absolutely huge. There are endless clubs, you can do anything you want, and there's a pool and an exercise room.

Brooksby Village met my needs. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very attractive. They have very extensive activities and there are a hundred clubs. They have many special trips and events. They have a pool, a computer room, game rooms, and a very large community with the ability to travel throughout the community in the covered, weather-protected corridors.

Brooksby Village is a very large campus with multiple buildings, many activities, and high residential population. The food is very good. They have a swimming pool and all the activities that any senior community could offer.

Brooksby Village is huge. There are 1,700 people. It felt like living in a hotel. Their independent apartments are like walking into a hotel room or building, which is the main reason why I decided I didn't want to live there. It's very clean and nice, and the staff is wonderful. It has all the amenities that you could possibly want. They have several dining rooms because they have so many people, exercise facilities, a bank on-site, and a pharmacy. It's just too big and too much.

Brooksby Village was spectacular because there were so many things that a person could do there. The staff was so attentive to their clients, who were all independent living except for a very small portion of assisted living and rehab. It was an excellent community. The apartments were very lovely and very reasonably priced compared to other places. They only had one meal a day included in their fees, but you could have three meals a day. The security and amenities were top notch. It was an extremely thought-out community.

Brooksby Village is independent and is very good. The facility is clean and good. It’s probably about 8 years old, and it’s pretty well-maintained. I had no problem with the cleanliness. The staff was ready to meet us when we wanted family meetings with them to see what was going on, and they were good about that, but when asked questions and looked for answers we just got the answers. The staff would like be in the kitchen and the dining room, and the meals were good there. We didn’t have any problems with the staff in the independent living facility. They had a lot of activities; they have movie nights, and they get a bus that would take them on Wednesdays to the theatre and different places like shopping, karaoke nights and cards. No problems for 10 years with the independent living. She had a one bedroom; the space was adequate, and she had a nice view from her window. She enjoyed that and she could look out on the trees and the little pond.

My friend is very happy at Brooksby Village. They do have activities like tours and concerts, bus trips and classes. Yes, I have eaten there and the food is good. She has a two-bedroom apartment and it is beautiful. The place is very friendly and very warm.

Brooksby Village was nice. The staff was fine and our friend who lived there liked it. We had a good tour. They had a lot of activities. The only problem I had with it was the terrible location.

Brooksby Village is a lovely facility. They have both independent and assisted living. Everybody has their own apartment, yet there is a dining room that they can go to. They have everything that you need there. They have exercise rooms and even stores for their residents. Their staff is very nice and very happy. Their residents are very bright, very modern and obviously very wealthy. Not everyone is accepted there because you have to be of certain income bracket. It is a very expensive facility. I would definitely recommend it if they can get in.

I love Brooksby Village of Peabody, MA. My grandmother moved there several years ago after selling her home to downsize. The first time I visited her, I was envious of the wonderful accommodations that are provided for all residents! My whole family is happy she lives there, and more importantly, so is she. Any time a service call is made for heating, water or the like, the service technicians show up promptly and address the issue. The on-campus shuttles are very courteous and prompt. There is a definite friendly atmosphere among the residents, and staff are always helpful. I would recommend Brooksby Village for anyone who is retirement age and looking to downsize their living space and live in a great community.

Brooksby Village is a wonderful place for elderly community members to live. The housing is more than adequate with many choices of apartment styles. They offer full dinner service daily that caters to residents needs. The wait staff are always willing to help and often can be seen chatting with residents. Brooksby also offers assisted living care in their Renaissance Gardens facility. Renaissance Gardens is filled with caring nurses and assistants that ensure a comfortable stay. Brooksby Village also offers many activities to keep residents busy throughout the day. Some of these activities include clubs and groups, exercise classes, and arts and crafts. Brooksby Village offers transportation around campus and off campus for those members who are unable to drive. The campus itself it very well kept. There is a beautiful pond and fountains and wonderful gardens that can be seen around the campus. Although the price of living there can be on the higher end, it is a wonderful community to belong to.
