I had a friend who was at Rosewood Assisted Living. It's a really nice place. I've had more experience with Rosewood than I have had with any of the other ones. The facility was well done and well constructed. The rooms were very nice. I don't recall which room I saw because it was not a tour. As for my visitation with the people who live there, they were well pleased with the facility, and they had a lot of good, positive things to say about the care they received. The comments would be basically positive. I really like Rosewood. I think it would be a good place. Everything was top rate as far as food, amenities, activities, and social structure goes. Those kinds of things were very good.

Rosewood was probably one of the oldest assisted living centers we saw, but it was newly renovated, and it was very nice. The man who took me around was just as sweet as he could be and answered all my questions, and he was ready for my parents to move in at that time. The guy who took me around and the receptionist were very friendly, were interested in me, and did not just push me off. At that point, when I looked at that place, the residents were locked down because of COVID, so I couldn't tell anything about what was going on there. What I saw was clean, and some of the rooms were being repainted. The place had been redone, and it looked very nice.

Rosewood Retirement & Assisted Living is under construction for remodelling. The place is kind of old and tired. They're feeling the competition with the newer facilities around. The staff member who gave me the tour was nice, they have new staff, and new management that's taken over. When I came in they met me at the door, took my temperature, and signed me in. I was introduced to one of the directors of the assisted living facility and I was given a tour of their facility. They have a library, common rooms, and a dining area. I don't remember anything outstanding, just pretty much standard things for an assisted living facility.

We toured Rosewood Retirement & Assisted Living. The overall tour experience was good. It just seemed like a friendly, clean community. The staff is very helpful, and very courteous. The rooms were above average, and we liked the apartment setting.

When the staff showed me around Rosewood, they did a great job explaining what they could and couldn't provide and went through any additional costs that might come up. They were really personable, and within the first week, they knew my mom and dad’s name and their dietary limitations. They always greet them when they see them in the hallways and really make them feel comfortable. They have a one-bedroom with a separate living room and a little kitchenette that's right off the courtyard. Their dining room is very nice. They have good food, and if the residents want more, they just need to ask for it. They have daily activities and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments, the bank, and the stores once a week.

Rosewood Retirement Community was mostly positive. The staff was friendly. They had common areas, but the dining room seemed to be crowded. They had a variety of choices and sizes in terms of types of rooms.

Both of my parents received wonderful care from the staff at Rosewood. Administration is always willing to listen and help with concerns or issues. Can not thank them enough for increasing the care instead of having us move my Dad to a nursing home when his condition declined. They were able to stay together and I am blessed they were able to call Rosewood home.
