We chose to move our father-in-law to the Savannah Court of Bastrop because of the personal kitchen that they can get. The staff we met were very helpful and very caring, and they get back to us as soon as possible if we have questions. It's nice. He likes his accommodations so far. It's a great location. The facility is a very accommodating place. The first day we went there, they were all at an event, playing and having fun. It's a very nice place, very well kept and they give great care to the people that are there.

We will be moving my friend to Savannah Court of Bastrop. I took her over there and let her spend the night. She stayed three nights, and they were very good with her. Everybody there was very sweet. She really liked all the staff, and they took very good care of her.
The rooms were very clean and looked like they were new. I know they're not, but they were very well kept. They get them up in the mornings, and they all come together in the living area. They do their exercises, and then sit around and chat. She really enjoyed that. There were several different things that they do. They have bowling and all kinds of stuff, but she didn't do any of them. They do different things at different times.
Their dining area was very nice, and she enjoyed the food. She ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner with them for three days. Their manager Christy is an amazing woman. She interacts with the people, every one of them. When she passes by, they would want to hug her. You could tell that she loved those people, and they loved her; so she is very good with everybody there. She helped us as far as getting her in there. Because my friend doesn't make a whole lot of money, she worked with us until we were able to come to terms. She was able to help me with that.
My friend loves the food. She said it was like it was cooked at home. Their facilities are very nice. They're very clean, and the grounds are very clean. It's just a very nice place.
I called them to see if they had any way that she could just come spend a couple of nights, and they did (which I thought was amazing). They let her come and stay a couple of nights; therefore, we were able to get a firsthand glimpse of everything because she stayed there.

Savannah Court of Bastrop was good, nice, and very pleasing. The dining area was good. Everything on the property was excellent. The only thing wrong is the cost.

Recently my family needed to move my dad to a new facility for care due to the progression of his dementia . During the process I called Savanna Court and spoke with the admin there . Even though they were not able to place my dad as a patient there , they went above and beyond to help my family find a care provider that was able to take my dad as a patient . If these wonderful people care so much for my dad and my family , and we are not even utilizing their facility , I can imagine that their care and compassion for their residents is outstanding . I highly recommend that if you need care for your loved one don't hesitate to give Savanna Court a call . Ever so grateful !

I’m very pleased with the care my friend receives. The food is improving. The building is always decorated beautifully. I’ve been visiting this property for years and my only complaint would be they need to update the carpeting. I really feel the staff is caring and eager to please. If your loved one needs Assisted Living it’s well worth the look. Administrator really knows her residents both in the Assisted Living and the Memory Unit.

Savannah Court is a nice clean place for the elderly to live. They have a friendly staff and administrator. My mom has been there for eight years. She loves living there. She had her own apartment with cable, laundry, housekeeping, and a nice dining room. It was all included in the price. The activity director goes far and beyond her duties. As with any place you have good and bad workers. I would say that most all the workers here really care about the residents. They have a nurse that gives their medicine and she is very caring and loves the residents. If you are looking for a place to live when you can no longer live by yourself this is a place you need to check out.

Savannah Court seems to be pretty good. I have small complaints like there are good, and bad employees no matter where you go. There are a couple that only do what they have to; it’s not the facility itself. The food is fine; nothing special.

When I read the services provided I checked to make sure I was looking at the correct place. Cable and WiFi are available only if residents have it connected and pay for it. Meals are awful and getting worse. Most are out of cans or frozen and reheated and are too salty.
So far at least 2 administrators have been fired because they have tried to help the residence by getting better meals instead of having the corporate interest at heart.
The air conditioning hasn't worked well most of the summer and there seems to be little effort to get it repaired.
My mother is a resident in order to have someone available at all times and staffing is so depleted now that if there are problems with more than one person there are not enough staff available to help.
Unfortunately this is the only facility in town. The good news is there are plenty of rooms available because people are moving out as soon as they can find another place to go.
