My dad was at Heritage Manor of Slidell, and we were very pleased with them. They have caring and compassionate staff. The rooms were spacious. It was nice. He enjoyed the food. They had activities for the residents, too.

My uncle is at Heritage Manor of Slidell. He's just there for rehab, and that's the only one that had a bed. They said that they'd be able to have him stay there after that as well for long-term care. It's really nice. All the employees seem happy and very pleasant. They all spoke to me. No matter where I was in the building, they all said hi. There are two beds in his room, two chairs, two dressers, and two TVs, and then the bathroom. It's a double room because he's in the rehab part right now. There's plenty of room in there. They got two side tables for each bed to put his things in and two closets. It's pretty big to walk around in. The rooms come with cable TV and everything. It's very clean and well organized, and they're very cautious with the COVID stuff. You have to take your temperature and wear a mask still, and then housekeeping came in and cleaned while I was there. They came in and checked on him regularly while I was there because I was there for several hours. It was really nice. I didn't see anything messed up on the walls or anything like that. It was in good shape. The value for the money is very good. He gets his rehab every single day and he tells me about it, so what they're doing makes sense to make him stronger and he seems to like it. He's doing good there. Even the staff that helps me with the finances, they're going above and beyond. The lady that checked me in before we got in there went above and beyond. All the staff has been really helpful. I did sign him up to get his hair cut. He'll be getting his hair cut and his beard trimmed, so I know they do all that. He said the food wasn't bad, and he's very picky.
