My aunt was a resident at Russ Place. Their staff was very caring, and they interacted with all of the residents. The rooms were very nice. The cafeteria was very nice and they had good food. The building was very well maintained. They had a salon and they had a lot of entertainment. They had an activities director where they did activities. I think it was an excellent place.

Russ Place was very clean. It looked very nice. The lady that we met with, her name was Sarah, and she was very nice. Everybody we met was very nice and very helpful. We didn't try the food, but the dining area looked nice and clean. Because it was a Saturday, they didn't have activities, and the activities director was not there. But the people were walking around. We talked to a couple of residents, and they were all very highly recommended of that. They provide meals if you need them or if you want to cook for yourself, you can. They have an activities director throughout the week that does things live on them. If they need to go somewhere, they'll take them. Families are welcome to come any time. The person who assisted me was very nice and very helpful.

I had an in-person tour of Russ Place. Everybody there was really, really nice, and very patient. They took time with my dad. We met the nurses and even the people that were cooking. We met some of the residents, and everybody was really nice. The apartment was really, really nice. Everything was good. They showed us some of the activities that they had going on, like the movie night, and they were getting ready to do one actually that night, and it was nice. We didn't eat, but they gave us a menu. They let us know that it would be different things that he could order, kind of like restaurant-style. They're just letting us know that there would be options for his particular needs. They have a beauty/barber salon and a spa, they do Bible studies, and they have game nights.

My mom has moved into Russ Place in Ruston. It's great. If I didn't think it was the best, I would not have put my mother there. I thought it's an awesome assisted living facility. They have a very nice dining area with separate tables, and she has been very happy with the food choices. They have daily activities too like exercise, bingo, and crash classes. She's loving it and that's all that I care about. She's happy and well-cared for.

My tour of Russ Place was really good, it was really nice. The people were nice, it was a nice building that was up-to-date. It was a very happy place, everybody was enjoying each others' company, and the seniors were enjoying the nurses when I visited. They have a courtyard, a place where some of the seniors meet up and stuff like that. They have an outdoor patio if they wanna go outside and sit down. The room that I saw there was really big and it was handicap accessible, which I loved the most. It was really spacious, nice, and well kept.
