Audubon Care Homes was founded with one goal in mind: to care for the elderly by providing them with the highest quality of living.
Dreyfous House is a 10 resident assisted living & memory care home located in a quiet neighborhood in Metairie, Louisiana near East Jefferson General Hospital. We offer the highest caregiver-to-resident ratios in the entire country, During the day there is 1 caregiver for every 3 residents, 24-hour care and supervision, on-site doctor visits, backup whole-home generator, housekeeping and laundry services, beauty salon, therapy dog visits, delicious food and state-of-the-art resident engagement technology by IN2L. We also offer a unique activity program that includes dance/movement therapy, chair exercises, memory care activities with our speech therapist, and group discussions with our family counselor.
We are dedicated to meeting the basic daily needs of the elderly who need help with everyday activities that exceed what their loved ones can provide. With a higher caregiver-to-resident ratio compared to a typical nursing home, we ensure attentive and specialized care to meet each resident’s specific needs. Our caregivers are trained to serve residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementia care needs.
