Claiborne at Shoe Creek was beautiful. It seemed like they have a really great place, but it was large, and my father has dementia and we're afraid that he would get lost there, plus it's a little bit further out from us than we'd like. They had a lot of nice things. We visited both assisted living and memory care. The staff was very nice. They had a crafts room.

The Claiborne at Shoe Creek had a welcoming atmosphere. During the visit, I only interacted with the lady giving us the tour, and she was understanding and informative. The amenities are not all on one level. They have a gym, salon, library, theater, and restaurant style dining. The upkeep of the place is excellent. The location is convenient to our family. It's not really close to the hospitals, but they do medical travels and stuff, and it's in proximity to existing physicians.

I toured Claiborne at Shoe Creek and I like that it's closer to my home. They have wonderful amenities. It's a sister property for the other place I toured, so everything was pretty much is high quality. The staff that I met were very cordial, helpful, and answered all of my questions. They had a gym, they had a salon, a meeting room, and a piano for the guests. It was very well kept up; it's only a year old, so it's a new facility.

We didn't choose The Claiborne at Shoe Creek because it was at least $1000 more a month than the other community we looked at. The rooms had different floor plans with different prices. The place was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. They keep the residents all on the same apartment. They have a memory care area, but where I toured, they don't change the rooms when they up the level. So, if my mother starts off at assisted living and as she gets into memory care, she stays in the same apartment and they'll just do more rounds. I like the layout of the place.

The Claiborne at Shoe Creek was great. The apartments were just the right size, and very convenient for my living style, very spacious, and very clean. The staff was very nice. They had an exercise room, crafts, and a walking area, and we could have pets. I talked to some people there, and they said the food was great. The decorations on the wall were beautiful, and the courtyard was very beautiful.
