I took a tour of Highlands Place for my father, and they were lovely and wonderful. It was a lovely facility, and it had beautiful grounds. The woman who took me on the tour was great. The place seemed very clean and very well lit. It was a really nice facility. The rooms looked great. The activities calendar looked like it was full of activities, and you could tell from the outside that the residents' rooms were decorated, so it seemed like people were happy and doing well.

The Highlands was very nice. However, you have to pay for your TV hook-up. They had no Internet system, so you had to pay for that as well. There were different things that you had to pay for that normally are included in other places. The rates were kind of funny, too. They didn't charge by the month; they charged by the day. I didn't particularly care for that kind of charge. Everything was very nice, though. I also like that it is close to my home. It is close to my family.

My mom had moved in last March and she absolutely loved it. The staff was very kind and supportive. We also liked the cleanliness of the place and the modern convenience that they have. Truly, I would recommend it to others.
