Rooms are spacious and nice. There is a monthly calendar with activities which includes music, games, art, and outings along with a few other fun things. The staff is friendly and have been nothing but great to my mom. The food is a bit disappointing. The meals aren't always on time, but the dining staff is friendly. There is free cable, but the internet service is awful. Otherwise it's a safe place for loved ones.

Lisa, the activity director really goes to great lengths to make everyone happy. She does a lot of different things to get residents involved and to allow them to do a variety of activities.

My mother is in Symphony at Valley Farms. We have had a good experience with them. They have been very communicative and are taking very good care of her. We are very happy with it. She is in a one-bedroom apartment with a separate bedroom and a living room area. They have musicians come in and play music for them. They do crafts; they made bird feeders. Occasionally, they take them on outings and have a bus that takes them. They have things available for them, like exercise and church activities.

It was a very nice, almost brand-new facility, but it was so far from where we live. The rooms were very nice and very roomy with tall ceilings and a lot of good light coming in. It had new carpets and everything was really fresh. The dining room was very nice, almost like a restaurant, with tablecloths, nice dishes, and silverware. The newness and the dining room really impressed me.

It was a very good community for assisted-living. They had memory care for very early Alzheimer's, and dementia. They took great care of my mom up to the point that they could no longer provide adequate care for her because her condition deteriorated. I wanted to leave her there, but I couldn't. The assisted living care was very good. For Alzheimer's or memory care; not so much. They were out of their element. If they want to provide memory care, their people need more training. Her room was very nice. My only complaint about the facility was they could not provide memory care service. It was a great place for her to stay for assisted living. The rooms were nice, the food service was excellent, the staff were nice, and friendly. I loved everything about the place. My mother liked it, but as she became more memory impaired, they could not provide for her.

My mom ended up going to Valley Farms. They have lots of activities as well as lots of options for the residents.

My mom moved here, it was very nice, and she has her own apartment. The apartment was very nice and spacious. The food was very good, and the dining area was well appointed. They have Bingo, arts and crafts, and movies.

I thought it was a nice facility. I like the grounds. The staff was very friendly. I thought it was a community where it should be an easy transition for my father. The facility looked well maintained and very clean. They had lots of activity for the residents. Overall, I thought it was a nice facility. They seemed to be attentive to the needs of the residents and the resident's family. They were pretty good in terms of making sure that the residents were groomed and that they had the necessary facilities -- e.g., beauty shop and laundry facilities -- and those were available for them. The rooms were well equipped, and they had some housekeepers that would come in and tidy it up for them.

I found this community for my mom. I chose this one for the location and the staff. It is a one-level facility, and they have memory care too. The staff does a good job. They're very caring; they seem to really care about the people. I really was impressed with the staff. The facility is very clean also and easy to navigate.

My mother has already been placed in Valley Farms. We visited on a Friday, they accepted her Friday, and she moved in Sunday, so they were very accommodating, mother liked the facility, and all the rest of the family has liked the facility. Security seems to be adequate. They have a theater and an activity center where they go to do different types of exercising, and they have puzzle making and card playing. The dining area is very nice. My mother did have a little trouble adjusting to the food for being so bland, but knowing that they've got to fix for several different people with different needs, she has adjusted to what they have there. It's also more affordable.

It is a very warm facility. The staff is very, very helpful and friendly. I like their private rooms. We’ve been very pleased with this facility so far.

Elmcroft of Valley Farms has provided excellent care for my mom. The facility is beautiful and the staff are very caring. I feel very good about Mom's care and know that she is in a place where she feels comfortable. Mom lived alone for many years and having the company of others her same age has been very good for her.

It was a new place and our mom stayed there. The people were wonderful and it was perfect for her. The place was fantastic.
