We have recently placed my father, with Alzheimer's, at Park Louisville. We did a lot of research and visited four facilities in total; we cancelled even more visits we had scheduled once we visited Park. Park just 'felt' right and seemed very homey. It is also a Personal Care Memory Care facility, which is what my father requires, rather than Assisted Living Memory Care. The rooms are adequate and the perfect size and the layout on their 2-acre campus is great; the outdoor space was a real selling point for us, as my father feels most at home in nature. There is also a veterans' unit there which was very attractive for us. From Kieleigh with whom we initially met, to Melissa and her nursing team to Danny as the memory care director and Hagit as the business administrator, all interactions with staff have been positive, personalized and warm. Our experience with Park has been professional and positive and we look forward to my father's thriving at the facility.

My mother-in-law has been placed in Park Louisville. The staff that evaluated her were quite knowledgeable and guided us in a very efficient manner. They're very attentive. The only problem I have is that they're not the best at answering the phone, or leaving a message and getting a return call. Having said that, one of the senior RNs, I have their cell number so I can just communicate with them directly, which is pretty awesome. The staff members are all very into their jobs. She eats the food there quite well. In terms of activities, every morning and every afternoon something is going on. They do chair aerobics. They do "What's that tune", they took them on a road trip to go see the leaves changing colors. They're always trying to do something to keep them going. The place is clean and the value for money is fairly based.

My father moved into Park Louisville last November. The place has been wonderful, the staff is excellent, they seem to really care, and they constantly keep us in touch on things that are going on. They seem to be very attentive to his needs and the needs of others as well. His room is small, but comfortable and fine for what he needs. The dining area is nice, they have 4 dining areas for the 4 wings, each wing has 16 residents, and it's very personal. The food looks fine, but dad is in a puree diet. They've got a couple of wings that they've actually done a lot of renovations, but there are others they still need to fix up. It was the second most economical one of the places we went.

My mom has moved into Park Louisville. She is doing exceptionally well. She has been very happy. From the get-go the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The facilities are very clean and bright. They seem to have a lot of activities too. It is dedicated solely to people with dementia and Alzheimer's, so it tends to be more specialized. They are fully equipped and trained on dealing with Alzheimer's patients, like they know distraction techniques or whatever needs to be done when a patient gets anxious. They have a number of different nooks that would appeal to different people. One looks like a small grocery store, one looks like a nursery with baby dolls, one looks like a man's workbench, and one has a bunch of records and an old record player. When a patient gets anxious, you can redirect them to one of these stations and the anxiety goes away. The staff members that I witnessed did a really good job with everyone there. They were very friendly.

My mother was at Park Louisville. They're amazing, and the staff was absolutely amazing. They treat everyone as if they're family, and go above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. The food was very good, they have coffee time every morning at 10:30, they talk about different subjects, or just have a chat for about 1 to 1 ½ hours. They also offered all kinds of projects like painting, arts, they have TV time, and sometimes in the night they have movie time.
