I think this is a great facility. My paternal grandmother suffered from dementia, which worsened while she was at the Friendship House. Staff and residents were very tolerant of her behavior.My maternal grandmother lived there with my grandfather until his death in 1994. She later remarried, marrying a widower who lived in the facility. They wed in the dining room of the Friendship House, and it was a lovely occassion.Unfortunately, my step-grandfather passed away last week. My maternal grandmother will most likely return to the Friendship House.
