About This Community
Friendship Towers, with 100 apartments, provides independent retirement living for the active, self-sufficient older adult, with the emphasis on an older adult-friendly environment. The main ingredient that sets us apart from other living options is the caring atmosphere that exists among our residents, their families and our dedicated staff. As a bonus, at Friendship Towers we are certified by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to provide assisted living services to those residents who need “a little extra help” with activities of daily living, on a temporary or permanent basis.

Independent living at Friendship Towers is just that – independence! Residents enjoy the privacy of their own apartment along with the convenience of being close to neighbors and services. The building is designed to accentuate comfort, convenience, security and affordability.

A wide range of services and amenities encourage the resident’s independence as well as lay the groundwork for very special friendships to form.

I visited Sayre Christian Village Friendship Towers Assisted Living. It was OK. It didn't really leave an impression on me. The only thing I can say about this community is that the dining room is down in the basement. So you go down to the basement and there are no windows or anything that look out onto anything while you're eating. I didn't like that. Their rooms were also just OK; they have studios and 1- or 2-bedrooms. The staff that accommodated me was OK as well.

My daughter liked Sayre Christian Village very much. It was the one she was recommending that I go to. One thing I liked about it is that it’s 1-story, and the efficiency room they showed me was OK. It’s just that I don’t think that the way they deal with the clients is professional enough. They leave you hanging, and they don’t tell you anything. I filled in my application back in August or September, and to this day, I have not heard from them. They were very shady with what the process was, and they just had you waiting. The staff was not rude, but they weren’t accommodating to me.

My parents passed away but they had stayed in Sayre Christian Village. You have to be at least 63 years old when you want to move into this community. It was for low-income and especially for HUD housing, but it was really nice. My parents loved it there and were very, very happy. What was so good about them was that they have independent living, assisted living and a nursing home within the community. The complex is huge. They had super staff who were very accommodating and very helpful. They also had nurses coming a couple of times a month and they would help do things with seniors such as clipping their nails, etc. For activities they had all kinds of special programs. They had birthday celebrations every month. Local celebrities come in sometimes and give concerts. It was a very good facility and I would highly recommend them.
