I went to Charter Senior Living of Edgewood. The staff was welcoming. The facility looked clean and the residents looked happy. I looked at a studio apartment and it looked clean. It had enough room for my dad, no thresholds, and new hardwood floors. It was furnished including a recliner that would lift up through a remote. They had a pull cord in the bathroom in addition to a pendant that my dad would wear, so if he would have a fall even from his bed to the bathroom, he could call and there was no extra charge for false calls or too many calls in a day, that type of thing. The dining area serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The sales director said that they wouldn't charge extra to deliver it to his room.

Medication errors, didn't follow instructions for insulin dependent diabetic, lack of communication with resident's loved ones, no notice of resident taken to hospital, wouldn't answer door or phone call when ambulance tried to return resident, resident had dirty hair and wore same clothes,etc. I sent 16 page report to OIG

Charter Senior Living of Edgewood would fit my mom's personality and finances. The facility is very hospitable, and the director I talked with was very nice, very helpful, really informative, and very professional. They got a salon for the residents, an area for crafts, a recreational area, and exercises.

My father is at Charter Senior Living of Edgewood. It's a nice place, but the food is lacking; I wasn't impressed with it. They have lots of things going on throughout the day like crossword puzzles, trivia, pictionary, crafts, movies, entertainment comes in, there are people that sing, and there are also activities they can sign up and go to. They have a private dining room. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. A new company just bought it and they're fixing it up now.

Brookdale Edgewood is very nice and everything is good. The rooms weren't the nicest, but they were OK. The dining area was nice. The person we met was nice, very helpful, and gave us all the information we were looking for.

It looked fine. It was nice, and I have nothing negative to say about it. The staff who assisted me was fine. They showed me the dining area and what they do there. It was nice, well laid out, and had a formal restaurant-style feel to it. They had a beauty salon and an exercise room.

It was friendly, but it wasn’t as clean a facility, and it’s a much bigger facility. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and understanding. They have an exercise room. I didn’t think the rooms looked as nice.

It was a really nice place. It had a great location. They had a curfew where the door would ring if you go out. The staff was friendly. The rooms and apartments were exceptionally clean and bright. They were definitely sufficient. It is on top of my list for a number of reasons. It was very pretty outside and inside, and the staff seemed really nice.

I moved my dad here, and he has been there for about 2 months now. It seems to be great, and he seems to be enjoying himself. He is around people his age that he can talk to. The care he is having is superb. They are keeping an eye on him. They are actually helping him clean up his room and do his laundry. I like that it seems friendly and any question that I actually have asked them, they answer them. They are willing to show me anything that I want to see. He is in a more or less what you call a studio, but I will call it more like a single bedroom apartment. It is a large room with a small kitchenette, and he has his own refrigerator and bathroom, an area for a bed, and plenty of room for his furniture. He has a couple of chairs in there, and it is nice. They have activities planned every day, so that's good. It is giving dad something to look forward to everyday. They have 3 meals a day plus snacks or if you want coffee during the day or whatever you want. I have not heard any complaints about the food, and when I am there, he is eating the food. He seems to enjoy it.

It was very nice, but they had an apartment type dwelling. The staff was wonderful though. They were lovely. They were very informative and very nice.

My mom is happy here. It's a wonderful place. The staff were very helpful. They were able to answer all of our questions. They have bingo, a sitting exercise. They have people come in for entertainment. They also have pets; actually they have a pet that runs the halls. We like the location because it's close to all the hospital and they do have a wonderful staff.

It was fine. I looked into their assisted living facility. Their rooms were fine and very nice. I mainly spoke to the woman who took me around and she gave me a calendar of activities. They have bingo, cards, etc. They also take them out to stores. Overall, it seemed like a nice place.
