I have only visited this facility once, but the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly to us so I assume they treat the residents with the same amount of compassion and respect. I should hope so. The environment was pleasant and clean and the residents appeared well groomed and content. They were all very pleased to see us and we were all happy to be there with them also. My son even left part of his costume there on accident and a worker actually met me on her time off to bring it to me! That in itself shows me the intregity of the people who work for Larksfield Place. In my opinion, the most important quality of an assisted living facility is not where it's located or how nice the amenities are (although those do matter); it is the compassion, love, honesty, and integrity that the staff offers to the residents. For this reason, I would recommend anyone to give Larksfield Place a try.

Larksfield Place is an excellent place to go from when the time comes. The staff is excellent, the food is great, and the residents are friendly and cheerful. There goal is to make Larksfield as little like a Nursing Home, as possible. You can have a personal trainer whenever you want, go for a swim, or enjoy some social time with many scheduled events. You will never get bored, there is always something to do, and people to see. The apartments are clean and well taken care of, as well as the Villas. All very much worth it. However, the only downside of Larksfield, it is very expensive. In my opinion, if you have the savings go for it. If you are on a fixed income, It would hurt to check them out anyway. Go online to there informative website, call, or come in. The receptionists are very lovely, and i'm sure there are less expensive options other than the ones that I have personally experienced. Our family friend, Bert, loves his Villa. He and his dog Ernie have everything they need there. It's just a home, with a nice yard, and nice neighbors. The only difference is, there is a hospital, cafeteria, exercise room just a walk away!

A truly caring community. Very homelike, but enriched with many activities and opportunities for socialization, Beautiful and well kept campus. Is a continuum of care community. Family involvement is encouraged. Linked with community and aging resources, research and arts world. I would highly recommend this ALF.
