Oak Creek Senior Living was nice and clean. The staff was all very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a calendar that had the meal plan on it. The rooms seemed nice and clean. Everything looked fine. There's no place for them to walk outside or anything like that, but there's plenty of room to walk inside.

Oak Creek is a small, no-frills, down-to-earth facility that has the most caring staff I've ever met. Both residents and staff feel like family. My loved one loved this place and these people. I couldn't recommend this place any higher.

The rooms at Oak Creek are simple and comfortable. Each resident personalizes his or her room individually to reflect their personality and taste. The staff at this facility are the most compassionate and caring people we've ever met. Our loved one was only there less than a month but he felt extremely loved and cared for by both staff and the residents. He especially loved to talk with the other residents at meals and over coffee, and enjoyed going outside on the deck and watching the wild turkeys or planting seeds in the garden pots. This place is small. Everyone knows each other and cares about each other. Couldn't say enough positive about this place.

While the building is an older facility that does not have all the amenities some of the newer places do, where Oak Creek shined is resident care, a great staff and being very reasonably priced. Our family was well taken care of which frankly when placing your family member somewhere is the most important thing. Fancy rooms and amenities can not make up for the peace of mind your family member has been well cared for.

My Dad was a resident here for 6 months before he passed away and Oak Creek was a very homey place for him. Oak Creek made moving my Dad from another facility that he was at for 7 years very pleasant. Finding out that the other facility was closing and my Dad had to be out within 30 days was quite devastating, but finding Oak Creek and realizing the price was affordable for my Dad was a blessing to us. Not only was Oak Creek affordable, but it was a nice clean place with staff that cared. I went to visit my Dad very regularly which I would recommend for anyone placing there loved one in a facility. I was always greeted with a smile and a welcome hello from the people taking care of him.

My Dad has been at Oak Creek since March, 2016. We are very impressed with the staff and facilities there; being a small facility gives it a bit of "small town" feel and allows the staff to truly get to know the residents. The activities are good; meals are fairly healthy; centrally located in Topeka. Considering the comparison in price to other facilities here; Oak Creek is a bargain! Most importantly, my Dad likes it and we know he is safe and well taken care of.

My mom was at Oak Creek. She loved that place. They were very good and very nice to me. She really liked it there.
