My mom is moving into Novel Place. We chose this community because it's a smaller footprint, it's newer, and it's affordable for someone who's on a fixed income. The rooms were beautiful. They have activities, they have a bus service, and they provide meals. We talked with several residents and they were quite happy with the food and the service. Their staff was fabulous, and the people we worked with were remarkable. It's a very clean facility.

I'm planning to move to Novel Place Overland Park. It was nice, bright, airy, and clean. The people were very friendly. They have a sitting area there in the lobby, and then it went right into the dining area. People were sitting out there doing some card games or bingo or something they had going on. We were there in the afternoon. I saw some food on the counters but we didn't eat there. The dining area was nice, big, and bright. Most of the tables are set for four, and they had others set for bigger groups too. The aisle kinda went down the middle and kinda broke up the dining area into two sections. What I saw in the cases there looked good, but we didn't eat there. Debora was the lady that took us on the tour and I had talked to her on the phone a couple of times, she's very knowledgeable. We met the president, she introduced herself when we were down in the lobby after we'd had the tour. She introduced herself and we visited with her. They were all very knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. I looked at a studio apartment and a 1-bedroom with a bigger living area.

I have chosen Novel Place Overland Park. It was bright, clean, and friendly. The room is a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. It has a bedroom, a bath, and a washer and dryer. They showed me a calendar of the things that they do, like games they play, the places they go, the bingo, and that sort of thing. Two meals are included. They have a library and a room where they have a theater and a chapel.

Novel Place Overland Park is wonderful. When my husband and I came here the very first time, we just fell in love with the place and the people. They have wonderful meals and services as far as maintenance and helping us set things up and get our TVs going. Everything has just been great. There are lots of activities, but we just moved in this week so we're not doing any activities yet. They have line dancing, golf, field trips, and they have something going on every day.
The maintenance man has been here every day trying to help us with different stuff. It's impeccably clean. We have gardens, a little deck, and a courtyard. It's very beautiful, very serene, very nice, and we are happy. It's a great place and you ought to come and check it out because it is wonderful, nice, and we felt right at home the moment we got here. Compared to the other places we looked at, we feel like this is the best bargain and the best for our money. We feel like this is good.

Gorgeous facility and apartments with nice location and privacy. Great access to local ammenities. Wonderful, caring staff and residents! I love the two courtyards the best.
