I've been here at Brookdale Rosehill for rehab for about 2 months now. I like their occupational and physical therapy. They're caring. I haven't had any complaints about the staff here. My room has an ADA-compliant shower. It is a walk-in shower that has handrails all the way around, so everything is accessible to you. The only thing I have to complain about is that the toilets are low. The rooms are big with big closets. The doors are wide. I have a wheelchair, and I can get in and out the doors - the bathroom door and the entry door. They got me an air mattress because they noticed that I was getting sores. I have a television, a reclining chair, and a regular chair. Some of the rooms have carpet and then some of the rooms have hardwood floors, and I'm in one with the hardwood floor. The staff is fine. There was one time when they were very short-staffed with CNAs. They serve meals and they're pretty good. I haven't had any complaints about the meals. They give you a menu the day before to choose what you want to eat for the next day. We get three meals a day, and then they have snacks out by the kitchen, like fruits and chips. Each day, they say what activities they do on the calendar. The only thing that I've experienced is group occupational therapy. When I first came here, they gave me a book on the things that they do here. They said there is an emotional dog that would come to your room, but they haven't had a dog come here. I'm looking for the dog to come, but it hasn't happened.

My mother-in-law was in the rehab section of Brookdale Rosehill. It was a well-kept and nice place. She was there twice. During her first rehab, the situation was excellent. The staff was amazing and they were very attentive to her. During the second rehab, she was in a different portion of the building and it didn't go as well, but I don't know if that's because she just wasn't as well. The first time she was there, she raved about the food. The second time she was there, she did not, but it was the same food, same facility. They had a lot of music programs and she loved going to those. They would come and get her and take her to another part of the building for the music performances. There was such a difference in between the two times for her.

Brookdale Rosehill is a disaster. My relative received inadequate care across the board. They are short staffed and are not able to keep up with the needs of their patients. My relative complained of terrible food and an unkind and careless nursing staff. If you care about your loved one, do not send her/him to Brookdale Rosehill!

Brookdale Rosehill (Formerly The Sweet Life at Rosehill) was very nice and very clean. We had some problems with the staff last time we were there, so I didn't put Mom back. She's been there five times for rehab. Their activities are pretty slim. They don't have a lot going on. She fell in that facility and broke her elbow at 5:00 in the morning. The food was very good. Her room was always very nice and clean. Their physical therapy was definitely a five. The last time she was there, they went downhill a bit. One side of the facility was very good and the other side was not. If your loved one is ambulatory, able to dress themselves, and able to go to the bathroom themselves, Sweet Life is perfect. If they're not, that's a different story, but my mother requires 100% assistance and she's wheelchair bound. They have a chef there. The food was good and you have many options. If you do not like the food, they will present you with two or three different menus and you can pick what you want from there.

Sweet Life was modern; it was updated. They had a little theater there, they have someone playing the piano for the residents, and we were told that food is good. It was really homey. They have little sitting areas that families could sit in and visit if they wanted to get out of the room.

My mom was at the nursing side of Brookdale of Rosehill. They took care of her well. We found a couple of girls that were so good to my mom. They checked on her and they had very nice personal touch.

I had visited The Sweet Life at Rosehill, and the rooms were very nice and large. The staff was very warm and friendly. Their staff to patient ratio was excellent, and that was what impressed us. They had quite a good selection of activities and entertainment. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.

Sweet Life at Rosehill is just one mile from my house. My wife stayed there for six weeks. It's a fairly nice place so far with regards to its physical setup. The rooms were nice and the food was very good.

I have a friend who's grandmother lives in the facility. It is a nice place on the outside and just as nice on the inside. It's quiet, not a lot to do there but I think once I'm that old I'd just like to relax too. From what I hear the staff is nice and respectful, always trying their best to calm down or go the extra mile for a resident.
