We would have chosen Glasswater Creek of Lafayette. My mother really liked it, but the rooms were small. We really liked it. Their amenities were excellent. They told us about it more when we viewed the facility. My mother was really pleased with it. She really wanted to live there, but the rooms were small. Also, it has an income standard because it is government based. They were a little bit over the standard (just barely), so they didn't qualify. The staff was great. Everybody we met was really nice. The people that were living there seemed very happy. It was Veterans Day, and they were making veterans cards.

I have decided to move into Glasswater Creek of Lafayette. I chose them because of their location, their amenities, and their staff. The staff was very helpful and very friendly, and all of the residents were smiling. They have studios and 1-bedroom apartments, and they're just lovely. It's a very tasteful and elegantly decorated facility. When I walked in, it reminded me of a hotel. It's very nice. They have a nicely appointed exercise room. They have a large game room, a large computer room, a library, and a lounge for watching movies and TV.

I liked Glasswater Creek of Lafayette a lot. It was big and roomy. It's a three-story building. No matter which floor you're on, they had gathering rooms. The rooms were bigger than the other place, and the rooms had a lot of storage. The dining room was nice, and they're not as restrictive. When we toured, we met everyone. The people that were living there, and the staff that walked by were very friendly. They have 24-hour medical staff, rehabilitation rooms, and exercise rooms. They just offered more than the other place did.
