About This Community

At Lake City Place, residents are at the center of our small, homelike senior living community. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our community welcomes pets and offers activities to help residents thrive in mind and body, such as church services, card and board games, WII competitive activities, manicures, bingo, baking, happy hour, trivia, exercise, tai chi, movies, and arts and crafts. We also enjoy going out to eat and shop. Contact us to learn more about what Warsaw assisted living can offer.

Lake City Place was interesting. It was nice. I just don't think I would like to live in just a room. They're small. The place looked clean and very attractive. The staff was friendly. They invited me for lunch and then showed me around. I met the people staying there and talked to them. They had a resident at the table for me to speak to. She told me how she liked the place and everything. That was the second time I was there. They invited me for lunch the first time, but I didn't have time for that. We were allowed to take a pet, which was nice. The food was good. They have a beauty salon, but since COVID, they haven't had a beautician. They're looking for one that would like to come. They had a computer, wi-fi, areas for sitting and reading, sitting and doing puzzles, and playing cards. They had the community room with TV and all that stuff. They do movie nights. They have a courtyard where you could go outdoors and sit out in the weather and enjoy the sun and what have you and your doggies could go potty and not run away. They even had a little garden growing. They're growing things for making salsa. They clean your room once a week, and they do your laundry once a week. If you need any more, then it starts adding up a little more monthly. It was inviting. They have a lot of pictures of their military people that are living there. They are respectful that way. The common areas and everything was clean. They had crafts going on, and they had a laundry room. They maintain it well.

Lake City Place was recommended, and I was impressed that it was very clean and the people were very nice. We had to move my mother kinda fast, and they were very accommodating. I am extremely impressed with them. They talk to my mother a whole lot. I can't say anything bad about them right now. They make nutritious meals, so that's a big plus. They have a couple different activities a day for them, but she just got out of quarantine, so I don't know if she's gotten into any of them yet or not. I like the facility. It's real clean, and that was one of the biggest concerns that I had. It's well maintained. It's just a little pricy.

My friend is at Lake City Place right now. My sister looked at it, and to me it sounded like a good and nice place. I think the staff is doing a good job, they are very friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is excellent. He likes it. I've not been there actually, and I just had a virtual tour with them, but my sister is taking care of the rest. Overall, I think it's a very fine place.

My mom is currently living in Lake City Place for over a year now. I'm fairly satisfied with everything. It seemed clean every time I was there, the staff was friendly, they have events available that she can attend, different types of activities, but the food is not as good as she would like. Each time I ate there for a family dinner that they provided, I felt that it was really good. She's in a studio apartment, they have a 1-bedroom, and I believe they even have a 2-bedroom. They play games like bingo and different types of card games. They have a kitchen where they have done different types of baking, and activities like that, they have a hairdresser available, they do exercises, and devotions and they have had movie nights or movie times. They had senior trips available, like day trips, they would go once a month to eat or have a shopping trip, of course, they couldn't do that during COVID. Once a month they had a family dinner, they would bring in entertainment, and they do arts and crafts. Inside the courtyard, there are benches you can sit on, bird feeders, and during Christmas time, they decorated because the residents can't get out so they had a Christmas land with lights and different blow-up things. They have been very kind to my mother.
