Addison Place is a good facility. When you go in there, it's like a country living type of setting. It's nice. They have a community area where they have couches and things up in the front that they can all sit and visit, and my mom is allowed to take her dog with her there. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. You can call any time you want and they'll help you out. The food was really good and they're home-cooked meals. They do all kinds of activities, and they have at least three or four things to do in a day. The only day where they don't have any activities going on is on Sunday, but they have a Bible study instead.

I toured Addison Place. It was a very good experience, and Miranda was very helpful. The place was very nice, very clean, and pretty affordable if you're gonna have to pay for something like that. Of course, they're still on lockdown, and when life is normal, hopefully someday soon, I think everything they offer is great. It would be some place that I'd be willing to let my mother-in-law go with, if she ever needs to go some place like that. It would definitely be some place I would choose. The rooms were more like a studio. They had activities inside. When we were there, they were having a bible study, they had Christmas music, and they were singing Christmas songs. There were several of them in the dining room where they had everything social distanced, they could sit there and listen to what was going on, mostly carols. They go places, they do crafts, and they're still doing those things as long as they can social distance. They're trying to keep their people involved. I liked the layout, I liked the fact that it was all on one floor, and they had bright hallways. I just like the facility.

My mom's room at Addison Place is comfortable and clean and fits her needs. The facility is pretty well-kept, and I have no problem with the staff at all. They're very nice. As far as the care for my mother, there has not been a problem, and they give excellent care. There was a girl named Vicki who was very accommodating in getting everything I needed in getting my mother into that facility. They helped me a lot.
