At York Place, we provide thoughtful, compassionate care in a warm, lively senior living community and develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident. A full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our residents engage in a variety of activities, such as live entertainment, bible studies and church services, bingo, dominoes, crafts, cooking, parties, exercise classes, and wellness clinics. We also go on outings to restaurants, shopping, movies, sightseeing, and concerts in the park. We are a pet-friendly community. We liked that York Place was the closest one to us. It's just maybe ten minutes away, and that's good. The facility was beautiful. We enjoyed the place. It would have met every need my dad has, but financially we couldn't do it. The rooms were nice and clean too, which were very important. The two ladies who gave us the tour answered our questions and had a lot of information for us. They're very helpful. The building was very nice, very well maintained, and welcoming. As we walked into the facility, there's a nice fireplace and they have gathered around for some kind of activity. They also gave us a paper that told about their activities, which I thought would be very enjoyable.

My mom has moved into York Place. Our experience with it has been fine. With COVID we can do outside visits and that's it. There are internal activities. They play cards, bingo, and watch movies, stuff like that. It's outside visits only and they are for 30 minutes.

I thought a lot about going to York Place, but the price tag was an issue. It's a smaller community than where I'm at, but I have a lot of friends who live there that really like it. Their rooms are also not as big as the current one where I'm at. Everybody there was friendly, although everyone really is friendly when they try to sell you something.

My brother, a veteran, resided at York Place approximately three years before needing nursing home care. His apartment was very comfortable for him and the staff was excellent in every way. I would highly recommend anyone needing assisted living to consider York Place.

The staff were really nice. They gave me and my sister a tour of the place and showed us a studio apartment. It was just a basically a room with a nice-size closet. It had a little sink, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Their dining room is nice, clean, organized. We were able to look at their activity sheet, and they do have activities several times a day.
