I liked that Wickshire West Lafayette had their own individual apartments and more amenities. It was closer to where I live. The apartment was also much larger than some of the other places. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. They seemed great. I liked that they accept Medicaid, and they will move you after you go on Medicaid.

My parents are in Wickshire West Lafayette. It's neat and clean. The apartments are decent-sized. They have a nice two-bedroom, two-bathroom. It's two one-bedrooms that have been opened up into a two-bedroom, two-bathroom. The staff is very kind. They've been very nice to us so far. They're a little short-staffed right now, but they're working on that. There are libraries. It's all decorated for the holidays. The staff has been good about working with my mom's food restrictions. They've done their laundry for them. When there's been a problem, they've come up and tried to fix it as quickly as possible. I know they have a bus that takes them places. There's a calendar of activities, and there are church services. My dad says the food is good. The carpet is clean; it just needs to be replaced because it's older, but it doesn't bother me. The place is clean, it smells clean, it looks clean, it's decorated lovely for Christmas, and it's warm. There's a fireplace that they have going. The residents are happy. You can see they're happy. Some residents sit in the lobby area all the time.

I went to Wickshire West Lafayette. It was a little less expensive than the other place, but they had great rooms, and several different types. The lady was very nice. I think it's newer, everything looked new, it was clean, and I liked it. That might be one of my first choices if Mom decides to come. It had anything you could want, My mom's into bingo, and going out on trips, and that was available. The dining rooms were very nice, big, airy, and had a varied menu. An RN is on site I believe 24 hours.

I chose this community for my mother. I'm thrilled. They keep her busy and active, and it's clean, and friendly. They have movie nights and bingo nights. They take bus rides once a week to Walmart, or she can pick up her prescriptions, and two days a week they can get her to her doctors' appointments. They know her by name. It's a great community. I'm very relieved with her there, and that she's found people she can interact with. She's constantly out socializing and doing things.

It is just very friendly, kind, and very comfortable. Mother doesn’t have to cook; all the meals are provided. Their apartment is cleaned, and their heavy laundering done for the most of the week. They can have a pet there with them. They have community night once a month where they invite the community to come in and have dinner with them, and they take them shopping once a week.

The community is very handy, and it makes me feel safe that my parents are there. Their meals are provided, and the food is excellent. Their apartment has two bedrooms, a living room, a handicap accessible bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a kitchenette. They have all kinds of activities. They have ice cream socials, car shows, church services, computers, art classes, and exercises classes. Everything that they need is there, and they don't have to go out.
