We weren't impressed with Bethlehem Woods. There were bad smells there. Their rooms were basically like a hospital room with 2 beds in it. The staff was fine, and the dining area looked good. My overall impression was that the place was just darker and it was not a cheerful place to be. We really didn't like it.

Hand-crank beds, cramped quarters, very friendly and helpful staff, more for people who are unaware of their daily surroundings

Bethlehem Woods is very quiet at the back of some woods. The neighborhood around there is higher quality than where my mom was previously. The staff seem very gracious, accommodating, and very nice. So far, it's very good. The dining area is very clean. They go out to eat periodically and have bingo and cards. So far, I thought it's a better nursing home atmosphere than my mom's previous community.

Bethlehem Woods has been caring for my father for over a year. They have shown much compassion and care in dealing with my father's condition. They do an excellent job of keeping me informed as to his health and any changes that are being made in his care. While working with my father after his hip replacement, the therapy people have been patiient and very considerate of my father's limitations, both physical as well as mental. Whenever an issue has arised that necessitated changes, therapy or daily care... I have appreciated the efforts that they have made to make my father comfortable physically as well as emotionally.
