I toured Lowell Healthcare. What I liked best was that I went on a weekend, and they had a lot of employees working. Usually on weekends, there is a very skeleton staff, but they had a lot of employees there. I saw a lot of employees with the residents and walking around. They were very, very active. The employees were the best. They were talking and engaged with the residents. Everybody looked happy. It was an old building. It was not as new or modern as the other places. They had their own physical therapy, which I liked. They had a courtyard. They had PT there, and I saw the activity room.

we were very lucky to get mom a room at Lowell Heath Care. Everyone is so friendly. They care for their residents and treat them like family. And they treat the family of the residents like a friend. I couldn't ask for more. Mom is happy and making friends. Even with the covid, they helped the family they best they could. they have activities with them,

I am blown away by the care at Lowell Healthcare. Mom is a different person because of the incredible care she gets here. No issue is too small for the workers here. Any concern we have is always taken care of promptly. We got so lucky to get Mom a bed here. I'm glad we waited for a bed to open up here. Training the aids on site that are going to be working there certainly makes a difference. We agreed as a family to drive 25 miles to get to Mom when we placed her here. Knowing what we know now we would drive 100 miles for the care Mom gets here. They care as much about Mom's emotional health as they do her physical and psychological health. It makes a huge difference. We owe you Lowell Healthcare. Thank you for taking the weight of the world off of our shoulders!

Lowell Healthcare was an older building with four floors, no separate memory care, and the dementia patients were mixed with the other residents. It was dark and dreary. The rooms were OK, typical, and more like a hospital room.

Lowell Healthcare is old and clean. The good thing about it when I went there is nobody stayed their rooms; everybody was out doing activities. The residents were all out and about, even the ones in wheelchairs. It just amazed me that they kept every resident busy all day.

Although I have not visited any other nursing homes besides the Lowell Healthcare Center, I was relatively satisfied with the service provided by the staff and felt comfortable leaving my Grandmother in their care. My Grandmother constantly raved about how she made new friends and how they found common interest activities such as watching re-runs of Texas Walker Ranger and playing euchre. The individual rooms were relatively spacious and had large handicap accessible bathrooms in every room. As well as a TV, residents had dressers and closets to put their personal things in. I felt as though my Grandmother was still able to keep her dignity and live like a normal person with the necessary attention as needed. What surprised me the most though, was an incident involving my grandmother and a episode of dementia where she actually pulled the fire alarm. I was called and informed of the situation but what surprised me the most was how calm the staff was and understanding. Of course I still had to pay the fine but at least I wasn't met with the rudeness that I would have expected from any other establishment given the circumstances. I do believe that my Grandmother was able to live out her last days in relative comfort (passed away 4 months ago), and the people here really do there job. If roles were reversed, I think I would have been happy to finish my days at the Lowell Healthcare Center.

The building may look old on the outside, but they have done a great job with the inside. When you walk in, you don't smell any odors and the employees will help you with anything. My mother was at Lowell Healthcare and loved it. The care was amazing and my mother still keeps in contact with the friends she made. The therapy group was able to have my mother home in a matter of weeks. I would recommend Lowell Healthcare to anyone looking for great care.
