My brother is at Ben Hur Health & Rehabilitation. It's beautiful. It's got three porch areas that they can go and sit. The inside is clean and nice. It's really nice. The staff was very nice, considerate, and friendly. They're really great. The facility's overall condition is very clean, very well-kept and very nice. When we first took my brother in, they came in and asked him about the meal that night what he wanted. They were serving catfish, and that is just really unusual. The menu sounded wonderful. The dining room areas are pretty. They're really nice. They have a salon too. They have all kinds of things that they're going to be doing.

The staff is very pleasant and genuinely cares about everyone in the facility. They carefully watch resident's medications and are very knowledgeable about everything they do. They treat everyone with respect, and are always smiling, no matter what. The facility itself is very clean and nice and easy to navigate when going for a visit. The receptionists are also very helpful when trying to locate a family member. The chapel area is also very nice and accommodating to those with wheelchairs or walkers. Over all, the facility is very clean and is kept very tidy. There are also plenty of entertainment opportunities for the residents as well, including game nights and sometimes special entertainment, such as local singing groups and other performances. I would say that, compared to some other facilities I have visited, they are a step above the rest because of the care they take in making sure their residents are happy and healthy.
