My mom is a resident and has been hospitalized twice within 2 months, this last time resulting in her bring in ICU on a ventilator for things that could have been prevented! She's not been given proper meds, not being watched very well at all and definitely hasn't been watched enough to notice lack of proper hygiene, even after I specifically told nurses and the doctor that she has issues with cleaning herself and they need to make sure she's showering, etc. The receptionist is only there M-F 9a-5p & that's the ONLY time phones are answered, if even then! There's literally NO WAY TO CONTACT A NURSE, ETC, FOR AN EMERGENCY while you're in your room, bathroom, etc! They even have a "memory care unit", I'd love to know how that's ran, especially since you can't reach staff if needed! I asked to speak with the head of nursing & was transferred to her voice-mail which is too full to leave a message... nor surprised! I would NOT suggest leaving your loved ones here!!!

I had an excellent visit with Crown Senior Living. I was very impressed. The staff was excellent and very caring. The food was so good. They had steak, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. The facility itself was beautiful, it was nice. The location is also excellent, I was extremely impressed. They have a lot of activities and they have transportation. It's just an excellent facility. They play cards, they take you to various places, and they play bingo and Uno.

My mother moved into Crown Senior Living. She’s in assisted living, but they have a locked-down unit for people with Alzheimer’s. I like the staff. They have things that simulate their mind, people come in, and they have entertainment, and the people play Bingo. The grounds are good.

When I came here I was welcomed with open arms. I am so thankful to have a place like this to call home!! The staff here truly care about you and the nurses always give there time to let you know they care. Oh and the food is good to!!

I visited this facility and was so impressed with the staff and the kindness of the residents. I have been all over town visiting facilities and what place this facility at the top of my list was how all the residents greeted me and had a smile on their face. When I toured the lady new everyone's name and there was a true sense of caring!! We are proceeding forward with the move in process and I am so relieved to find a place for my mom!!

If your loved one is here, move them immediately! There is no assistance whatsoever. My loved one has not had help with the basics. We were told there would be help with personal care and housekeeping. That hasn't happened. The administrative staff leaves much to be desired. They have no business running this type of operation. No compassion for the residents at all. Medication is not dispensed on time. Haven't seen or heard of a social services specialist on staff to help ASSIST with making appointments with healthcare providers. If you are looking for assisted living, this is not the place. Keep your loved one at home and set up in home care..

Crown Senior Living Indianapolis and its people were very nice. They had a full calendar of activities, like karaoke, bus trips to the stores, and field trips to the casinos. The food seemed OK.

This place may look really nice but the care is poor. Be very sure your loved one is able to do for themselves! If they start to decline move them ASAP. The care my loved one has received borders on neglect! They will insist they are fine staying there when they really are not. A surprise visit by myself found a room that upon opening the apartment door smelled so bad I could hardly stand it. Clothes all over the room and my father laying in a bed unbathed or shaven for well over a week! Weight loss, falls, dehydrated, UTI and now pneumonia!!

The staff was quite pleasant. They were very informative and friendly, and they took me on a tour. They have an area at Crown Senior Living where they can cook. They can either eat in the dining room or they can cook for themselves if they like, and I thought that was nice. I thought it was beautiful. It looked like a hotel -- large and modern -- so it was really nice.
