We just pulled my mother out of anthology. When she moved in 3 years ago, it was called stonecrest and under different management. Our goal was to transition from AL to memory care when the time came. Unfortunately, stonecrest and all of their management are no longer. Anthology has taken a once incredible facility and driven it into the ground. The current executive director does not care about the residents and what is best for them. He does not care about his staff or have their back. The core values that we fell in love with at stonecrest have not been carried on. Don't be fooled by the beautiful building and 'amenities' The care there is minimal. They are grossly understaffed and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing = zero communication. It is such a shame what happened there. Complaints are ignored so nothing gets accomplished. Of all original residents of stonecrest, one family is yet to move their loved one out. That alone speaks volumes!

My grandmother is currently staying at a place called Anthology of Meridian Hills. The building is beautiful, and the rooms are amazing. Everything is gorgeous in there. Where they are lacking is the price. It has gone up quite a bit, and the service has gone down quite a bit. The food used to be a 5 when she moved in. They had a 3-star chef working in the kitchen. When management changed, they got rid of him. It's like they pulled in someone off the street corner. It has gone downhill. The staff has had quite a bit of turnover, and the nursing staff is horrendous. They need to improve on their nursing staff. They also need a new community director. The man that is there now is not responsive at all, and they need a new kitchen staff. The activities director really tries, but the people are moving out of there like crazy. It's like a mass exodus. There's not a lot she can do with a handful of people, but what she does do is great.

We chose Anthology of Meridian Hills for our dad because it's close to my sister's house. When we were going around during the tour we couldn't go into anybody's facility to take a look and see how the place was laid out. Because of COVID we weren't allowed inside any of the buildings. The facility is nice, it's up to date, and they've just done some remodeling. We caught them where they had relieved some help, and we've had some issues with some of the staff, but now everything has been resolved. They had a cleaning of the house, so to speak, and everything's better now. They took the residents to the pumpkin patch, and they went someplace else, and it's just them without anybody else. Other than that they do the standard things like bingo, board games, and that kind of stuff in the building.
