When our loved one was admitted to Stonecroft her most important insulin dose was not given to her for two days, which caused her to have to be sent to the emergency room. Once she passed away, we called to collect her belongings and they set her stuff outside of the back door next to the trash for us to pick up. No sorry for your loss or anything. Her belongings were discarded like the trash.

My grandmother was left in her own urine for 5 hours. staff takes >45mins to answer call lights. Patients die prematurely. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE.

I cannot begin to express how happy we were with the care Stonecroft provided our dad with in his final days. He was never in any pain, he never felt alone or upset. The staff was so good to him and were always willing to accommodate family. They even brought in an extra mattress for when one of us wanted to stay the night with him and offered us drinks/snacks. Nursing was always good with communication and kept us informed of any changes. They sent a lovely arrangement of flowers to the funeral as well and checked in after he passed away to see how we were doing.

A beautiful facility does not overcome bad management that lies to family members in pursuit of the Almighty Dollar, Get any financial dealings in WRITING, do nothing by phone or a handshake. Changing their guidelines midway through a verbal agreement is not acceptable management behavior. I don't trust anyone once they go back on their word.
The nursing staff is good, friendly, and willing to work with and for the patient.. The food quality is questionable according to my mother-in-law. She couldn't eat it. For $800 per day, I expect edible food, wouldn't you?

My mother was here for rehab after a full knee replacement for about two months. We had a bad experience at the last facility she'd been at a few years back so I was pretty apprehensive. Stonecroft is a gorgeous facility and is always extremely clean. It looks more like a hotel. It definitely doesn't look or feel or smell like a nursing home. When we got there from the hospital, her room was ready and had a name tag outside the door. Staff members were very friendly and helped us get settled in. We came in pretty late so the kitchen was closed but they brought us some snacks and fountain drinks. No complaints about admission. Their therapy department is PHENOMENAL. Mom left in better shape than she'd been in in years and with more energy and stamina. Nursing was always enthusiastic and supportive. I remember a few times when we had to wait 15mins for her call light to be andwered but that was maybe 2-3 times in the 2mo she was there. The food was always good and they were always willing to get her something different (she's a picky eater). I cannot think of anywhere better we could've sent her. The staff is incredible and I never once left feeling guilty or worried about mom. We knew she was in good hands. We'd highly recommend stonecroft to others.

My Mother-in-law who is 90 years old, has been a patient at Stonecroft now twice in the last year. Once for a broken ankle (Spring 2016), one for a broken hip(January 2017). The facility is a beautiful facility and the food seems to be pretty good but the overall care of the patients is terribly lacking. There seems to be a big disconnect between employees. The therapy department seems to be caring and pretty good, but the overall nursing staff seems to not be staying on top of what the patients need. Don't know if that is because they are understaffed or what. This last time a transport delivered my Mother-in-law to Stonecroft, no one knew she was coming, certainly not the staff close to her room. Her bed was not made up and no staff made any contact with her until my husband showed up. The hospital and Stonecroft assured us that she would be taken care of until we could get there after work. She sat in a wheelchair for over 3 hours with no one even knowing about her or doing anything to get her settled in. By the time family arrived, she was terrified, confused, cold and extremely dis-oriented as to where she was. It was terribly sad and we felt bad about the whole situation because they had said she would be taken care of. It took us another 2 hours after we arrived to get her settled and get her some food because they didn't have her on the dinner list for food. If we hadn't been there I don't know what would have happened.
We asked for a shower for her after she had been there for 3 days and it took us another 3 days to finally get her a shower after being told everyday she would be getting one. WE HAD TO INSIST!!
She fell in the bathroom and laid there we don't know how long, before someone found her and the family didn't find out about the fall for two days after that!! No Doctor was called to check the new hip to see if it was injured or if there were problems from the fall until we found out about the fall and INSISTED she be checked out. She fell on a Tuesday 7:00am, Dr. didn't check until Thursday after 6pm.
Without the family approval, a Dr's. appt at the surgeon was made to check her out after surgery which required she be taken to her Dr's office. When the transport arrived to pick her up, no one on the floor knew about the appointment, we the family had not been notified about the appointment. We still don't know who set up this appointment, everyone is denying any knowledge and yet someone called for a transport to the appointment. The appointment had to be rescheduled because none of the family could rush over and go with her at that time. THANK GOODNESS for us we had hired an independent person to come and watch over our Mother's care or we would be completely in the dark about all these issues. We visit with her EVERYDAY so there is no excuse for Stonecroft not to be in contact with the family on all issues concerning her. I feel very sorry for patients that do not have family that can check on their care. I can't imagine how much they are getting neglected. If the stay at the facility had been great the first time, I would consider these to be isolated incidents but this is exactly the kind of treatment she received that last time she was there so we again hired someone to spend time with her everyday so that we could make sure she was being taken care of. Most families could not afford additional costs.
I am told this is the kind of care you get at all Senior Healthcare facility....how sad is that! It is a "pretty" facility and there are some caring people there, but there seems to be a real need for management. I would suggest that all families stay on top of their loved ones care. Even then there will be issues....Unfortunately.

The staff is extremely friendly and genuinely cares. There always seem to be activities going on, so there's always something to do for fun. The food is excellent. The facility is always impeccably clean with lots of natural lighting. It's a lovely place to be.

My husband said that Stonecroft looked more like a hotel than a senior living place. Their common areas seemed a lot more open. The staff was great adn took us around, showed us a couple of rooms, answered all of our questions, and seemed knowledgeable. This place was probably our favorite. We liked the look of it, and the guy said that we could bring in mom’s favorite chair to put in her room. They had a little snack area available in case you missed a meal; you could just go there and get a sandwich or something.

We chose Stonecroft Health Campus for my mom. The staff was very nice. We like the rooms, the cafeteria, and the people as well. They were just all very knowledgeable and friendly. The room she has is a good-sized room. I have eaten there, and the food was very good.
