great service and care start to finish for my mother. Staff was friendly and kind and patient with her. We couldnt have asked for a better team of care at the end of her life.

A friend was at Wildwood Healthcare Center about two years ago. It's a full nursing home. I didn't like it very much. It would not be somewhere I would put my loved one if I could avoid it. It had a certain smell. It didn't smell fresh and I went there quite a bit. I went there maybe two or three times a week for over a month. One time my friend ended up in a part where they had a contagious illness and they didn't put a sign up on the door. When I went to visit, I didn't know. I walked in, and I wasn't prepared and didn't have a mask. It was before COVID, so no one was wearing masks back then unless you were around something that was contagious. It just wasn't the cleanest looking place.
The rooms were pretty small. There's nothing special. It's not a luxury place. I don't have any great things to say about the visibility of the room itself. There was a table that' was kind of small, and there were two people in the room. The food was OK. She didn't have a lot of complaints about the food. Their dining area had some tables. It wasn't horrible like trash everywhere or anything like that. It was moderately clean. The nurses were nice and explained things and did what the doctor said. However, her doctor didn't come every morning on their rounds and it seemed like a lot of her treatments and questions were delayed. It wasn't a smooth process as far as the doctors.

I have a relative at this facility and I visit from time to time, I am appalled at the way the employees act, cussing through out the hallways, Talking and texting while inoring the residents and call lights. Residents drinking and smoking pot in the courtyard even that staff see .them and they do nothing but laugh. The food is always cold due to sitting in the hallway for up to an hour at a time. The CNAs are very disrespectful.

I wouldn't send my pet bird to this place. Too many CNA's on staff who just talk or smoke. Most everyone smells like cigarettes or vape. No differences between physical rehab people and the nursing home patients. The food was cold and/or with flies. I almost ided in it when I was bleeding out. Only saved when a transport happened to the hospital. Never again!

I wouldn't send my pet here to die.
They ignored call lights for over an hour. They forgot my relative was there apparently, even with the call light on. Missed pain medication for a cancer patient. My relative couldn't swallow a whole pill and they sometimes refused to break it in half. He missed at least 3 meals. The staff claim it was delivered.
He complained about the food not being fit for a dog. They lost his personal clothing. He had a doctors appointment, he was over an hour late because of the facility. The staff acted like he was privileged to be there.
Never again!!!

My POA staid at the Nursing Home there at Wildwood on 16th st. in Indianapolis, In. was horrible. Nurses lied to us and I had to take him out of there before the month was up. They told me they wood reinverse me for the money that I had coming to us for the days he was not there. But they only reinversed me for about a forth of what I had coming to us. I loss $678, in the deal. Plus they did not take care of him and he went down hill. Nurses were rude and uncareing. I would not put my worst enemy in that place. I would give no stars but they make me.

I had an accident at work and fell and broke my neck. After weeks in the hospital and in the Rehab Hospital. When I discharged from the Rehab hospital I went to Kindred -Wildwood. The care there was excellent. All the nurses and c.n.a.'s were friendly and joked around with me which made time go fast. Activities gave me crossword puzzles and movies to help time pass by.The therapy there was fantastic. With a lot of hard work I am now home, can walk and even went back to work. If you have someone who needs help I would highly recommend Kindred -Wildwood.
