This facility is currently dangerously understaffed and lacking qualified caregivers. Constant turnover of caregivers and admins. Incomplete or incorrect critical medication dispensing, failure to follow care orders, inconsistent welfare checks in patient rooms. Too few staff RNs and CNAs for 40+ residents. It is a beautiful facility with lovely patios and activity areas. Large private rooms/bathrooms. Those that are social may enjoy daily community activities. GP is a mixture of mobile memory care residents that require assistance, and more isolated hospice patients that need closer medical attention. Caregivers are trying, but most CNAs have no idea what care orders are for residents that need medical attention because there has been a continuous parade of in-house, agency, outside hospice nurses, and temp caregivers. Several residents have hired personal care givers. Proper training of new staff seems to be lacking, increasing potential for injury and accidents when assisting transfers, toileting and showers. Interview closely to make sure this is an elder community that can handle your loved one's needs. 8/2022
