I visited Prairie Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care. It's not one that I would recommend. It was cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Rather than sit at a table with us, the staff sat behind her desk. Well, there were four seats at the table. She didn't ask about my loved one at all. She just started with a canned speech and then took us on a tour around. It paled compared to the other places. It was a whole different league, and it was very second-class. It was not impressive. Maybe the staff was more unimpressed, but the place did not impress me either. I think she asked, 'Do you want to see our memory care?' And at that point, I was like so unhappy with the place that I was just ready to not waste any more of our time, so I didn't tour their memory care. I saw their dining area, and it wasn't as nice as the other two facilities.
