Garden Place Columbia has impressed us. The price was really good. They lock in a permanent price. Very positive staff. The facilities are in wonderful condition. The rooms are nice. The activities director is really on the ball. It seems like they have a lot of activities for the people. Their menu looks great. I'm just very impressed with everything they do. They have a salon and they have a chapel, a nice dining area, and a courtyard.

My mother-in-law is in Garden Place Columbia. We chose it because it was just convenient at the time, and they had respite care. The staff have all been very accommodating. I would say the food was fine, and it was just a transition thing. She likes cooking her own food, so it would be hard to please her.
I've only seen the room from the outside, and it seemed average, though it was clean, and well-kept. She's only in a studio right now. The bathrooms are also well accommodating for elderlies.

I know a little bit about Garden Place. I know people that are in there and they love it. I have been there for a meal and for an activity. I met quite a bit of the staff member. They come to the senior site that I went to and they run bingo. They work well with the seniors. The staff is good. Everybody in the dining area was very friendly. The food was good. I have only seen one or two rooms. They have quite a few activities. They have bingo, they play music, and there are various organizations who come in and volunteer their time to do things with the seniors.
