I have been a resident of a two bedroom villa for the last four years. This complex is wonderful; I can’t imagine living any other place. We have several ponds along our walking paths which are stocked with a swan couple every spring. We all look forward to the hatching of the baby swans and watching how quickly they grow. My patio faces one of the pond and provides a beautiful view. I feel very safe living here and the provided transportation for shopping and going to dinner is a bonus. We do have a five star restaurant within the property as well. Management and maintenance are excellent and they do their best to accommodate every request. There are plenty of activities in the community room. We have monthly birthday parties as well as holiday parties. Occasionally we have carry in dinners and we do have some very good resident cooks.

Alden Horizon was very pleasant and nice. The staff was very informative and very polite. They had activities like arts & crafts and games. The food was delicious.

When I visited Alden Horizon, there was nothing available. The staff was straightforward. It was an older community, so it didn’t seem to be a good fit as I didn’t have the same needs as them. There were a lot of people at the entrance in wheelchairs. It was just not somewhere I want to go.

Alden Horizon was very nice. We chose it because of its location, which was walking distance from my home. The people seemed very professional, very helpful, and very nice. It was convenient and very close to a hospital.

I live in the villas at Alden Horizon. I have lived in this unit since it was built. Spring of 2000. It is a lovely 775 ft one bedroom, handicapped accessible unit. Maintenance is done promptly, snow is shoveled/plowed immediately, grounds are kept beautifully. Management does everything it can for us. Bus to grocery stores weekly and other shopping. Activities going on every day. Election voting is done for 4 precincts on our premises. We have a beauty shop and restaurant right here on campus. There is a drug store just outside the entrance to our complex and they deliver to our doors. AND many more conveniences.

I was very impressed with Alden Horizon. I especially like the area because it feels safe within the complex. The main room that I went into had a little library in it. The houses are connected in a semi-circle and some are priced very reasonably, but they have other options too, depending on what you want.
