Senior Suites of Fay's Point was a nice place. They showed us a unit and it had a brand-new carpet. It was very clean and spacious with huge bathrooms. So, the place looked great to me. They also had laundry rooms on each floor, which I think is great for the residents, so they don't have to take the elevator up and down. The laundry room is actually free for the residents. The staff members that I met were very helpful. The office manager wasn't in, but a maintenance worker actually took me to a unit, and she was very nice. That's not her job, but she took us through it even though we already had a tour before.

I'm in Senior Suites of Fay's Point right now. It's a decent place to live, but I would like to move closer to my son. The staff is OK; they're fair. This is independent, so I prepare my own food. They're in good condition. They try to maintain the properties even though the carpets in the elevators are quite dirty to me. Overall, it's a decent place to live. The residents here create their own activities. I've been here a bit and I think that the office has only put on two activities, and they're very mediocre to me. There was a wine and cheese day, and then there was a Christmas party last year before the pandemic. They said in their brochure that they provide rides for the residents to the grocery store once a week. I found that to not be true. They have problems with staffing here. They didn't have a maintenance man for about six months. It's a lot to stay here for seniors.

I toured Senior Suites of Fay's Point. I saw a typical room that Mother would be in, but she would still be living on her own. She would get the room, and they would check in on her. Basically, she would make her own meals, and that's one of the things I was concerned about. I really did not see a reason to be here, when an apartment would be much cheaper. I don't see how they can charge $1,500 if she has to live on her own anyway. The building is like in the middle of nowhere, but it seemed like all the buildings there are condemned. Based on that alone, I wouldn't want to leave anyone there to live unless they absolutely wanted to. It seemed clean, and the room seemed kind of small. I think there was a TV room.

I visited Senior Suites of Fay's Point. I talked with one staff member and she was fine and friendly. She could've spent a little more time trying to show me a place, but she was the only one there at that time in the office. The place was clean. The residents were nice and very friendly.

We visited Senior Suites of Fay’s Point. The staff was fine, knowledgeable, courteous, and did did everything they needed to do, but the one who showed us around wasn’t upbeat, and was insensitive. She made us an appointment before we went there, but she wasn’t there. We saw one apartment, but we didn't like that the residents can smoke in their rooms. Because of this, when you walk in the hallway, the stench of smoke emanates from the floor. My husband didn’t ride the elevator, because he uses a cane, and the room that was available was on the fourth floor.

Senior Suites of Fay's Point was in a nice area, but you have to pay for the parking. The rooms were small, but the place was comfortable, and quiet. They have entertainment once in a while, and they go shopping once a week.

I visited Senior Suites of Fay's Point. It was nice and clean. The studio room was small. If moving around by wheelchair, I think the senior might be tight trying to move around that little bedroom. They did have the handle by the bathtub and the string in case anything happens, but it was just too small. They need to get rid of senior citizens needing to pay for the parking over there.

Senior Suites of Fay's Point is a new property, so it's very beautiful. I wasn't so happy with the location but I thought the facility was very nice. They only have one-bedroom units; they don't have two-bedroom units. I saw the calendar of activities and they were playing bingo while I was there and getting gifts and prizes. They seemed very active and involved with the seniors which is nice. Everything looked well, but I was just not happy with the community around it.

I went to Senior Suites of Fay's Point. Everything was beautiful. There was a one-bedroom that's nice sized. It had a small kitchen from what I'm used to being in, but it had enough cabinet space. It had an air-conditioner and the blinds came with it. They had a laundry room on every floor and a big old kitchen at the basement. You can go down and have dinner there if you want to eat there and if not, you can eat in your own room. It's just like a community group. The staff during the tour did excellent. They were getting ready doing their Christmas program. They had a lot of the people in the building coming down, and they had decorated a pretty tree. I saw a lot of women that live there.

Senior Suites at Fay’s Point is near us. It’s very clean, very well-kept, but it has no security. I saw people sitting outside in the sun and in the exercise room exercising. The staff I met was friendly and accommodating. I am on their waiting list.

Senior Suites of Fay's Point was beautiful. They had everything going, and the whole nine yards. They had townhouses and the big apartment building where they had the suites. They were very beautiful. Their building and everything they offered was number one, but their office staff was zero.

Senior Suites was very clean. It was a brand new building. The people there who assisted me were very nice. They took me on a tour. I saw a 1-bedroom apartment and it was extremely nice. Each apartment came with their own kitchenette where they could cook for themselves. They had a meeting room on each floor with TVs and books.

Senior Suites of Fay Point has been open about two and a half years now. It is located right along the Calumet River. There's a condominium complex next to it but it was kind of deserted there. Other than that, it's like grassy area and there's a bridge that goes over the river. There is a shopping center in Ashland Street and those little shopping centers nearby but you couldn't walk to it from there. You would need to get driven. I like the layout of the building. I don't think they had an eating facility there because they didn't have assisted living. It was just independent living. You could order dinners if you wanted to and have them delivered. I didn't like it because when we went there, the person who was doing the leasing got really annoyed with me and my sister because we asked all the questions you could think. The details of what do you all do with this, what do you do with that. If we have to deal with her acting like this now, what if there's a problem when mother moves in, something needs to be done in the apartment or handled, is it going to be an issue?

I used to drive by Senior Suite of Fay's Point. I inquired about the place and I could not afford it. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It's really nice. The staff was very pleasant.
