I have been dealing with care givers for nearly 10 years and have not come across any place as good as this. They have kept everyone safe during this pandemic thus far. It has not been easy for anyone. Thank you.

We really enjoyed and liked The Grand Victorian Sycamore. It's very homey and comfy. We're looking forward to having Mom move into there. They have some raised gardening beds there, activities, games, crafts, and outings. We were very happy with the tour and everybody was professional.

The Grand Victorian Sycamore was smaller and quieter than other places. The people seemed nice. However, it didn't have memory care. Once we found out that they didn't, we didn't even finish the tour.

Grand Victorian is very nice and kept up well. They recently got new carpets, so they continue to update the place. The apartments are nice with a living space and a wall that separates them from the bedroom area. My loved one has a full-size bathroom and a small kitchenette. It's very nice and good for one person. She said the food is good. The grounds are nice and include a nice area where people can walk around outside. You can take a dog there, too.

I liked the Grand Victorian, but my mother didn’t like the layout of the apartments. It’s medium size; they don’t have a lot of apartments, but only have units. They were more like hotel rooms; they didn’t have solid walls between the bedroom and the living room. They were chopped up and didn’t feel like a home. The layout of the place was nice, as well as the dining area. The price was comparable, and it was smaller, so they would get personal care there.

The facilities at Grand Victorian are very nice. They offer different size rooms, living space because some of them are like a little apartment, studio and some are just a bedroom with a bathroom. They have a variety of sizes of rooms that you can choose from. The people there are great. They totally work with what we’ve been asking of them because she is kind of a high maintenance individual because of her type 1 diabetes. They have been very accommodating. The food was very good. My mother in law has special dietary needs, so they accommodate her for that.

I’ve been to the Grand Victorian. Nice area. It’s the closest one, and I know a few people that live there. I think the staff there are very accommodating and very compassionate; they are strictly out to please the residents. They have a good cleaning staff. The rooms are adequate; you can pick out your choice or size of rooms. They have interesting things that might interest older people. The dining area is adequate. I had dinner with one of the residents, and it was adequate and very good. They don’t have any hospitalizations; if you need a hospital, you’d have to go to another facility. I have never heard of any complaints from the people that I know.

Grand Victorian is very elegant, very luxurious and very nice. The rooms are extremely nice and accommodating. The price was very reasonable when we moved in. Unfortunately, they changed management, and I’m not real happy about that. There was a 7% increase that was going to take place this year, and I negotiated down to 2%. I’m very familiar with all the staff. The nursing staff and the CNAs have been extremely accommodating with all the changes they’re doing and the level of care has remained the same. I’ve appreciated it a great deal, and they’ve been very understanding so I can’t complain. When they walked in, they’re dumbfounded because it’s like walking into a ballroom. They have elevators on the second floor and they have 3 wings from the main entrance. There are fireplaces everywhere in the facility. They have a fenced-in area in the back. They have a formal dining room and their meals are served at the tables. It’s a very, very nice setting. They have a lot of activities that go on there. They have other areas like a pool room and reading areas. They have a big theater area for playing DVDs. They have a big screen in another area that they played bowling games. They had a piano, and they played bingo.

It was probably my first choice for facilities. However, they wouldn't take medicare and that's the reason why I didn't move my mom to Grand Victorian. But the facility, inside and out, were beautiful. It was very upscale but homey. The rooms were huge, beautiful and well maintained. Their dining area was very nice. The staff was very friendly, personable and professional. The activities and the opportunities were excellent. The residents seemed very happy and engaged. I would recommend it to others.

My lady friend is 52 years old and at her age, it's almost impossible to get her into any of the assisted living facilities. The Grand Victorian was the only facility that was willing to take her in. The staff was very accommodating and they were the best people. They were more concerned about the welfare of their residents than making profits out of them. They even gave our bereavement group a free meal and the food was good.They were just great to us. I could say that the people there were very happy and contented. I will highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great place! Building is very nice and clean, kept up great. Staff is amazing and I always hear good things from staff and residents and even community members. I would recommend Grand Victorian to anyone looking for a place like home.
