River Glen of St. Charles was a great place. It was in perfect shape. They had beautiful room sizes and the layouts were nice. The lady who gave me the tour was very nice and showed us everything that was in the facility. Everything was clean, no smells or anything, and it was a very nice facility. They had a little library, a couple of exercise equipment, but it's not in an actual workout room. The dining room was very nice. Some tables could sit two, some were four. I wanted to go into a main building rather than a townhome, but at that time I was looking for a townhome, which I thought was what I wanted. Here, you could start in a townhome and then move to the main building if you needed assisted living, which was kind of what I was looking for, so that if and when down the road I would need help, it would be available.

The staff here is very caring, and attentive. They treat my husband's brother like family. They have a chef that prepares wonderful food, and my brother-in-law is very eager for the meals. The physical environment is very well-decorated, and inviting. It's very comfortable, very clean, and they have good opportunities to socialize or exercise. They also have a van that takes him to the store.

It was a very nice place, it has a beautiful dining area, and it has nice rooms. They have townhouses that very nice and beautiful. They have good food.

This facility is not too bad. The fact that the residents get help with their teeth or any other grooming shows that they are well cared for and not just left to their own devices. The staff and facility seem to have scheduled activities for the residents, so the their stay is not monotonous. The residents also have a lot of help to get things done, for instance they have assistance for when they want to shower and if there is an appointment that they need to make. There is someone there ready to take them where they need to go. This facility is quite pleasant, and with a friendly staff, it really makes the stay very nice. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their loved ones.
