I went to Seasons Under The Oaks. That's strictly independent. You get a unit that's not the greatest in size, but it's newer. And they give you a garage. If you're still driving and care about your car, they have a garage for you, but they do not provide any transportation or meals. But it's half the cost. I would save approximately anywhere between 600 to 900 a month by going there. You get a one-bedroom, living room, kitchen, and dining combo together, open with a partition, and kitchen island that divides the kitchen and dining. If you want to put a small table, you're able to put a small dining table in there because it's a kitchen dining combo. They have community rooms with microwaves, and people could bring food in to celebrate birthdays and occasions. They monitor you constantly in case of any medical conditions. They do have on-call nurses that come weekly, and you just have to let them know if you want them to check in on you. And I thought that was very nice. There's a panic button in each unit, and the manager is constantly checking up on you as far as your wellness. It's kind of a close-knit community. They had a waiting list, and I moved up on it. The staff was very informative and answered all my questions.

This facility is not just a facility for my beloved Granny, but it is a home. I was nervous putting her in a home at the beginning but now whenever I visit her it is the happiest I have seen her. The building itself is astonishing. Both clean, and very friendly while the staff are just as great, going out of their way to assist my granny with her every need. Since my grandpa passed she has kept to herself but since putting her at Seasons she has opened back up, made friends, and seems to really be enjoying herself!

Seasons Under The Oaks was clean and immaculate. It was just very nice. The person who assisted me during the tour was very nice; she was wonderful. I saw their dining area, it was up-to-date, very clean, and also immaculate. They don't have food so you have to have it brought in. There weren't too many people there, but it looks like the price is right for us. Aside from the dining area they also have amenities, like books.

I'm a resident of Seasons Under the Oaks. It's a very nice community. There's a vestibule where all the elderly come in the evening to visit and play cards. They have bingo every now and then. Every week, they have a schedule of different things that you can participate in. It's independent, so they do not supply meals.
