Autumn Leaves of Savoy is located on the southern side of Champaign, IL, and features three residences that accommodate 12-14 residents in private suites surrounding the living and dining area of each home. The private bedroom suites feature private baths with sit-down shower units. These charming residences were designed to create an atmosphere that looks and feels just like home.

My mother is in Autumn Leaves of Savoy. She enjoys it a bunch. They are very good. We appreciate the way that they take care of her. She is very happy there. She is tickled to death and that's what we want. She's eating a lot better than she has in a long time. She is in a lot better health as far as being able to walk around. The administrator and all the people that we dealt with up the chain of command from the administrator up to the corporate office have been tremendous. We appreciate their help and their attitude toward my mother. I have all kinds of good things to say about them. The administrator is good. We look up to her. The food is delicious, which we sampled, and it's all home-cooked. The facility is clean. They keep it up. They don't have a bunch of stuff laying around they can trip on or whatever. They keep an eye on the residents. Everything's good. The activities are good. They take them outside. They've got porches on the front of the homes and can they go out there and sit and have a snack, and my mother enjoys it. She's sitting out there watching the cars go by. Value for the money is super. They've got a beauty salon and physical therapy. They got a back courtyard and a walking area, which are hallways that go around in a circle where they let them walk around. I'd recommend it to anybody.

The atmosphere is family friendly and homelike and the rooms are nice and private. Staff are very caring and helpful and responsive to needs. The food is good and the place is clean and well kept. There is a nice covered back porch to sit and enjoy the weather and a comfortable sitting room for having conversations.

The most difficult decision I ever had to make was moving my Mom in Memory Care. But all of you made it easier. The compassion you showed not just my Mom, but to me - counseling me thru my tears and guilty feelings. I loved the videos and photos you shared, reassuring me that my Mom was active and happy. Many days my Mom would say "it's not so bad here" which was high praise from her and comforting for me. It takes a very special person to work with seniors with memory loss - patience, empathy, warm-heartedness and of course a sense of humor! All of you have those qualities and more. I felt a sense of family at Autumn Leaves. A place where my Mom was treated with respect and kindness. I miss seeing all of you. Thanks for taking such good care of my Mom - and me!

It is a new facility. It was definitely the best of the ones that I saw. The staff was wonderfully caring and attentive. Because it is a dementia unit/Alzheimer’s care, the amenities are not the same as ones offered in other places, but they do have outside facilities and a lovely TV lounge in each of the cottages. The layout is very favorable. They have individual cottages that house about a dozen people, so they are able to give them very individual care. They are with the same smaller group of people all of the time, which is really good and very positive for people who have severe memory problems. The residents seemed very comfortable and very much at home. Even when I took my mom there, she seemed very comfortable.

My mother-in-law is getting great care. She is very happy there. They provide great staff, and she loves them. The food is great too. It is a memory care, so the residents just have a room there. It just opened in March, so everything is brand new. The activities they have there is just appropriate for memory care patients. The staff keeps them together in a group within a central area all day.
