My parents are currently at St Paul's Senior Community for rehab and I've been happy with them. The building is beautiful. I think they keep the facility very clean and I feel like I've seen genuine care for my parents. I've been happy with the amount of physical and occupational therapy they receive and with the level of communication that the staff has with us.
My mother does not like the food but my dad is OK with it. I've seen a lot of the meals that are served, and a lot of them looked decent, some better than others. I think it's hard to make something really spectacular when you're cooking in large volume. They have a gym that they go to work out in, which my parents have told me is really nice. Their suite is very nice too. I wish there was a little more entertainment or activities to keep them occupied because I think boredom is a big issue.
It's very expensive but I'm assuming that it's probably about the same as the others. In skilled nursing facilities, you very much get what you pay for, so I would rather pay a lot to have them well cared for.
