River Bluff Nursing Home is a very good institution. It meets all the requirements and codes. My wife is taking part in activities a little bit more than she did. She is having some difficulty walking, but they take care of her very well. The price is very reasonable for the care they're giving her there. She has to share a smaller room with another patient, but we are going to move her to a private room. We're waiting for the room to be reconditioned to move her into that. The staff has been very good, but I had a little bit of a problem with a few of their new hires. The facility is above average. The meals are served to the patients.

My mother was in River Bluff nursing home. Everyone was very friendly and loved my mom. My younger sister lived nearby, so they contacted her if anything happened. They corresponded with my sister and kept her informed on any medication that was being changed or about my mom's condition. We were happy with the care that she received. I couldn’t ask for any better.

My loved one is in River Bluff Nursing Home. It is pretty nice. They have all kinds of activities, and all kinds of stuff. The staff is very caring. The rooms and grounds are nice. The neighborhood is good. They have bingo and stuff going on all the time. I absolutely will recommend the community.

River Bluff was just average. It appeared to be clean. I'd say the rooms were average-sized -- not really spacious but not teeny tiny either, so just average. People appeared nice, and the activities were good. What stood out was probably the workers; they were friendly while we were there.

All of the staff is caring and available to answer questions or help in anyway they are able to.. They make your family member feel at home and try to help them make the transition as smooth as possible. You feel like they become a part of your family. All units including the dementia unit is open with a beautiful court yard that the resident are able to enjoy when ever they like, weather permitting. They have outing for residents who are able to still function in the outside world with little supervision. Each unit has a dining room and lounge area the residents are able to use as well as a main dining room for those who wish to eat there. They have family days throughout the year, along with special family meals during the holidays. The meals are served buffet style , so each resident is given a choice at each meal what they would like to eat. They have many activities throughout the day and week for the residents whether they are on the dementia unit or not. I would recommend the facility to anyone needing to place their family member.
