I toured the Brookstone Estates Rantoul. The facility was older and not as new as the other community I toured. They were doing some renovation and they were trying to give it a little bit of a facelift, but it looked a little bit kinda old to me. The staff was very nice and I felt that they're very good. I did not care for the location because this is more in town, and the views weren't as nice as the other one I saw. It looked fine, it looked clean, but since they're having renovations done you'd have to put up with a little bit of construction. I would not have a problem going there.

Brookstone Estates Rantoul looked like a good community. They had friendly people working there. They gave us a good tour, but at the time we were there, they were full. The rooms were well-furnished. There were activities going on. There must have been 16 people doing the activity together, which was well-attended by the people. They were enjoying it greatly.

Brookstone Estates Rantoul is a newer facility. They didn't have any open rooms at the time, so they offered to put my mother in one of their other units in a town either 30 or 50 miles away, then they would move her back into Rantoul. To move her twice like that would be crazy. The manager was extremely helpful to us.

Brookstone Estates Rantoul was very upscale. The rooms were nice appointed. The person that assisted me there was very professional and showed me everything that I needed to see that day. They were at lunch when I was there. The dining room was well appointed. Everyone appeared happy with their tablemates. The food looked appetizing.
