What I liked the most about LaGrange Pointe was that it was pretty much downtown in the city. It's within walking distance of the bus station and train station. I saw their exercise machines, and without going outside, they have a restaurant there. I think they offered only one meal a day, I don't think they offered other meals. The staff who gave the tour answered all my questions. I saw most of the place, it's not anywhere near as big as the first one I toured. The staff was very helpful. They didn't have a patio that you could walk out on, but you can walk out on the street.

LaGrange Pointe was really nice. If and when my dad's ready, we did like that place a lot. I like the area that it's in. There is a lot to keep them busy in that area. The downtown La Grange is a nice area and the building itself was very clean, very modern, and very nice. There were only two women that I saw but they were very nice. I would rate them highly, too. It was just that my dad changed his mind, and he's not ready to go yet. That place was really outstanding to me. They don't have dining there. With the COVID, you couldn't see any of that.

LaGrange Pointe was perfect, but it wasn't big enough. There were no meals other than occasional meals and some breakfast, and they had barbecues, but it wasn't a place you could count on for all your meals. It had underground parking and a nice elevator. It would work for somebody older or who gets around less than we were. We still have our grandchildren come and stay with us, and it wouldn't be big enough for that. They had a mini-bus to take you everywhere and get everything for you. You could even come down and walk out through an Italian restaurant because it had a door opening into the facility. It's right out on the main street that had everything, there were a dozen high-rated 3 to 4 star restaurants, and it's a two-block walk to the train station to Chicago. The facility was very good, new, and you had balconies and big greenery all around you.

LaGrange Pointe was great, and there wasn't a problem with it. It was nice, but it wasn't in my pay range. The whole apartment was nice, and everything was beautiful. They need to have more apartments that have more reasonable prices for people whose income is less than $40,000 a year, but it was a lovely place. Most of the apartments there are $2,500 a month, and some people can't afford it. The apartment is nice and beautiful. It's clean, and the amenities are up to date.
