The place was filthy! Residents just sitting around doing nothing. Was in the elevator with a resident that looked and smelled like he just came in off the street.Called to speak to the Director several times, she was never there or always busy. Do not send your loved ones there!

This facility provides both short term rehab and long term care, with a large number of long term residents. It is located in a safe area on a major street a distance from the downtown area of Aurora. There is some designated outdoor space but it is notably small considering the size of the facility especially. The lobby is nicely decorated and much of the facility has undergone cosmetic renovation, but the pleasantries seem to end there. There are limited common areas outside of the main lobby. Rooms are of average size but during at least on one visit several rooms were not appropriately clean, and in multiple areas of the building. Multiple residents were observed disheveled, not properly clothed, or not having their needs met. Care staff seemed oblivious to what appear to outsiders to be obvious problems. The food did not appear to be anything that one would eat given a choice. It is sad to report these things, but others have corroborated similar experiences to mine, so there is lots of room for improvement here.
