Buckingham Pavilion is a warm welcoming nursing home and rehabilitation center with a very caring staff who gave my mother a sense of family during the 4.5 years she resided there. She loved interacting with the staff and other residents and attending group activities. From Day 1, she was welcomed with warm ‘Hello’s and smiles from all she encountered, from the nursing staff and CNAs to maintenance and food service. All kept her final weeks/days/hours happy ones. I highly recommend Buckingham Pavilion to anyone looking to place a family member in a long term care facility.

Thank you for everything you did for my father. I know its a difficult job everyone has. I know that dad really seemed to connect with a lot of the staff, and they connected back with him. The care and concern everyone showed was outstanding, and everyone always seemed to have a smile for him and would usually be able to have him smile back. You always had his best interests at heart as well as the family's. On behalf of our entire family, I want to say thank you again. Be well and continue the good work!

Buckingham Pavilion is an amazing nursing home and rehabilitation center with caring staff who helped my grandmother with every need of hers. My grandmother always mentioned how much fun she had interacting with the staff and attending group activities with other residents. The rehab staff really helped my grandmother recover from her knee replacement surgery and regain her ability to walk again. I would definitely recommend Buckingham Pavilion to anyone looking to place a family member in a long term care facility or just for some rehabilitation services!

My father was a resident at Buckingham Pavilion. He suffered a fall and needed rehab. Buckingham Pavilion exceeded every one of my expectations. Their rehab program helped my father get better quickly and he was able to start walking independently in no time. The staff was helpful and dedicated. The administrators assisted my father and I with any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Buckingham Pavilion Nursing Home!

This facility located is on the northwest side of chicago. This facility has a bed hold of 200 residents. This facility accepts individuals who are in need of skilled care as well as individuals who have been diagnoised with other health concerns. The grounds of the facility are fair, and a common area is the dinning area. The colors are clean looking, and the residents appear to be connected to the staff. While there I was able to meet some of the medical staff, who were serving the residents with lots of smiles. In general, I would rank this facility a 3 out of 5 stars.

This is a facility that has an impressive array of services available to its residents, which is why we stopped in to take a look. Our aunt has early stages of dementia. Because this condition is likely to worsen over time, we wanted to find a place that could adequately handle our aunt's needs as time progresses. They also have rehab facilities and many of their residents come for short stays until they can get around on their own. We liked this aspect, as it was clear that the staff knows how to handle any physical or mental situation. The staff was very friendly, kind and totally receptive to our concerns. They assured us that they could handle our aunt, no matter how her condition progressed. We saw a variety of types of residents, including those who were ambulatory to those who needed full wheelchair assistance to get around. There is plenty of staff to check on residents all during the day all around the spacious and well-kept grounds. The food was quite appetizing, with many options to suit all dietary concerns and palates. We sampled some snacks which featured cheese, crackers, veggies and fruit. The menu looked interesting and they also take suggestions from residents, which is nice. Our aunt was impressed with the various activities that the residents and staff participate in. For example, the arts and crafts room had really nice supplies and the book club associated with the local library looked really interesting. The exercise classes include all kinds of exercises, from yoga and stretching, to weight training and more vigorous aerobics. The field trips looked extensive, frequent and stimulating. They also host regular entertainment performances by musicians, actors and dance troupes. The Art Institute has invited residents to attend regular appreciation viewings and discussions. Their own library stocks all types of large print, audio books and films, which are also shown in their theater.

My uncle was admitted to Buckingham after he fell and injured himself. We chose Buckingham because of the location and recent press it received from U.S. News and World Report. I must say I was beyond impressed to see how well they responded to his needs. The nurses and CNAs were very professional and the slew of activities provided keep him stimulated and entertained all day. He made a few friends there and couldn't be happier.
