My wife stayed in Alden Courts of Waterford for rehab after hospitalization. Her care was intensive because of her infection, and the nurses were good. But the staffing was short so the response time to call buttons was a little slow at times. I would spend between seven and nine hours every day changing her, feeding her, and bathing her because the staff was so short. Especially at mealtimes, you can't find anybody because they're all busy feeding them. They have the activity levels, they had physical therapy, they had occupational therapy and the staff in those areas were very good. Even though she didn't want to get out of bed, they would help her and encourage her and get her up and so forth. She got very good physical and occupational therapy there. The food was very disappointing, and the aides' response time was often very slow. The room was small and housekeeping was inefficient. Medicaid paid for everything. I checked to see if she was going to stay there, and their base rate just to have a room and meals was $9200 a month plus beds and so forth.

We were given many places to check into and we found Alden Courts of Waterford to be the best one out there. It is very clean, they're very caring and have been taking care of my mom great. They feed her well, she has lots of great meals, and she's just very well taken care of. It's a memory care and she's been there a little over 2 weeks now. They have activities and they also do church on Sundays which we are really happy about.

My brother moved into Alden Courts of Waterford and he's very happy there. The nursing staff is very kind and understanding and willing to accommodate. The room is very large and very, very clean. They have social time, and until COVID came, he could come and go whenever he wanted to. He likes the food, plus he is younger and still a big eater, and he gets double what the other residents get. The facility is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Security is very good.

I love Alden Courts of Waterford. They were doing a pet adoption event at that time, and a lot of the residents were there petting the animals and their families came. They had absolutely beautiful grounds. I had never seen such a beautiful facility. It was huge, but the memory care part was much smaller. If my husband were to go somewhere, that's where he would have to go. They do outings, shopping, and a lot of things. I've seen nothing as nice and as peaceful as this place.

Alden courts of waterford in Aurora is a memory care facility with skilled rehab available . Single spcious rooms with very caring staff and the therapists are top notch!!! Patients should have a dementia diagnosis to enter the rehab there but trust me, they are the best! The therapists are dementia practitioners and know how to get the best out of their patients!! mom was treated so well there, she didn’t even want to leave! They have a sitter and so many activities so that your loved one is kept busy! I say the patients and their families are so spoiled there, we didn’t like any other places we toured for skilled rehab or placement after rehab .. The staff seems to truly care. They have only 9-10 skilled beds a available but have 2 assisted living wings in the same building. Respite care is also available, I was told. Food is pretty good too. Skilled rehab was covered by Medicare but Assisted living price is pretty comparable with other memory buildings in the area.

Alden Courts was beautiful. It was very clean inside. They had karaoke or something like that. The lady there was very rude. We had a tour set up. She said that she couldn’t tour with us. She was just horrible.

Everying is absolutely great at the Alden facilities. They really emphasize allowing the seniors to be completely independent however they do organize many trips and outings to promote friendship and togetherness. She has a very nice garden area which she was estatic about because she loves to garden. Also her apartment is very spatious for a single living area. Finally the workout area is very nice and up to date. She is very happy there and has made many new friends that she has introduced to me. She was very lonely in her house but now has friends stopping by her apartment all the time.
