I've got two people that I've helped at White Oaks at McHenry, and they're both very happy there. The layout is very convenient and very safe. Each of the two people I have there has their own private room and they were able to bring in their personal items. It is a memory care facility and the staff works very well with the residents. They have a lot of activities. They have art classes, bingo, puzzles, tea chats, and morning exercises.

My mother moved into White Oaks at McHenry. The staff is very nice, very helpful, wonderful, and very attentive so far. I know they have bingo, and they have like social gatherings.

I chose White Oaks at McHenry for my mother because it fit all the boxes that I was looking to check off: the location, the size of the facility, and the price. Her room is great. I haven't had any complaints yet. She's in a studio apartment. I think she likes the food. I have nothing but good experiences. They have activities for the residents, but with COVID, I haven't been able to really watch any of those.

Both my parents reside in White Oaks Memory Care. They are well taken care of, they are able to participate in activities because of the staff (not always easy when dealing with residents with diminished memory capacity) They've been apple picking and to Union IL, amongst other activities. They bring in entertainers for sing alongs. It makes a huge difference in the residents. The songs come back to them. The staff immediately lets us know when something comes up, and work together with the family to find what is best for mom and dad. Thank you White Oaks for being so very kind and caring!

White Oaks at McHenry was very nice. The rooms were very nice. The dining area looked institutional, but it was still nice, roomy, and very clean. The staff was helpful, and you could see them stopping and talking to the residents. The food was very good. They had an exercise room, an outside meeting area, a garden setting, and a private room for families to gather or eat.

White Oaks is an exceptional memory care community. My aunt is a resident and has been since it opened. We love the care she receives. The apartments are spacious and warm and the staff is kind and helpful. My aunt has done well there, with all the activities and healthy food. We knew we liked it right away when we walked in for a tour. White Oaks is a great memory care.

My wife is a resident of White Oaks at McHenry. I'm happy with the location because it's only a block away from me. They're very good. They do a lot for the people. They bring in entertainment periodically every couple of weeks. They sing old time songs and they do a really nice job. They have crafts and singing. She's happy there. She dances and enjoys herself. They serve three meals a day and they have a doctor who comes in. They get her to eat food that she's never eaten before. I bring in specific things for her like canned beans and canned chili and they'll make it for her. It's a brand-new facility. It's been open for less than a year.
