BE AWARE, UNITS HAVE BEEN INFESTED WITH BED BUGS. Grandmother's apartment was completely infested with bed bugs. They are everywhere...bathroom, bedroom, living area. Was not aware until she had an accident which has made us find alternate care for her. We found the bugs trying to move her belongings. She complained of a rash several weeks before this, but then couldn't find a reason. Didn't even THINK to take a closer look at her bed and bathroom area. Management was called on the weekend and NO ONE has responded at all. Called today, Monday, and no one is in the office and no one has called me back. Was told by other tenants that the exterminator has been there all week and that there was a case on the 4th floor. I talked to her neighbor and he showed me bites on his arms. I urged him to check is apartment. Health Department has been called also. I don't recommend this place to ANYONE.

Lilac Senior Apartments had good 1 or 2-bedroom apartments. It was very clean and well-kept, and they refurbish the kitchen and appliances. They have laundry facilities on every floor. They have a TV, a game room, and a kitchen and common area downstairs. It has a patio for gardening. However, It took them a long time just to get my brother’s name on the front door so people can come in. They never hooked him up to the buzzer system so he could buzz people in, and they never gave him a parking space.

The experience at Lilac Apartments has been fine. I moved in a couple of weeks ago. I have two dogs who are kind of a concern because they’re in a newer environment and barking too much, and I’ve been getting a lot of complaints. The room is very nice. The location is very good.

Lilac Apartments were the closest to where we live, and I wanted my parents closer to us. They throw a lot of nice things for the residents, they have meeting rooms, they have a couple of dinners throughout the month, and they've got some games and activities -- just a lot of various, different things which could be indoor or outdoor. We never really had any situations yet as far as communicating with my parents directly. We communicate several times a week. It's only been a few months, but my parents are pretty content.

Lilac Apartments is an ILF so seniors there are independent and they can do their own cooking. They have lots of activities for their residents. I did visit this place. It did have a very nice atmosphere. It was a nicely appointed building, not too large, and they kept it up very nicely. It was a very nice place; however, they don't have indoor parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I like best that, for most seniors, this facility was affordable and very well-maintained.
