Welcome to The Glenwood Assisted Living of Mahomet, Illinois

The Glenwood Assisted & Supportive Living is dedicated to providing customized services to meet the individual needs of our residents. Our unique plans are designed to offer a lifestyle that compliments a resident's independence with the quality of personal care each individual deserves. Our team recognizes that each of our residents have individual needs and preferences. Prior to admission, our administrative and nursing team will spend time with each resident and their family, to conduct an assessment in order to evaluate the need for assistance and support on a personal level.

The Glenwood Assisted Living of Mahomet, Illinois opened in 2008. Our community features 44 apartments, including efficiency, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 2 bedroom-deluxe. Each apartment features a kitchenette, living room, bathroom with walk-in shower, bedroom with walk-in closet and private patio; apartment square footage ranges from 500-860 square feet of cozy, living space.

3 delicious, well-balanced, home cooked meals, per day

Quarterly wellness evaluations, conducted by a licensed nurse
Trained, certified and caring staff, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
Minimum of 4 wellness checks per day
Local transportation for scheduled physician appointments*

We toured The Glenwood Assisted Living of Mahomet, and I liked the way they showed us the rooms and the grounds. They showed us all the activities and stuff they had. I liked the appearance of it. It was in good condition and it's a fairly new building. The rooms were nice and spacious. The people who assisted us during the tour did a good job. They provided all the utilities. They also had a 24-hour emergency response system. They have an exercise room, a barbershop, a coffee bar, a theater room, and a snack bar.

The Glenwood Assisted Living of Mahomet was amazing and I felt like I was in someone's very nice house. I did not feel like I was in a facility. The rooms were large, spacious, and able to accommodate residents. The staff during the tour was very transparent, caring, friendly, and willing to assist. I did not check the food, but I did see a lot of people in the dining area and they seemed happy. I think I saw a woman out there knitting and they also had clubs going on.

Mother lived there for 8 yrs until she passed November 2018. I volunteered for the last 4 yrs even after she was gone. I did so because I wanted to bring some happiness to the dear people who live there in what is a mostly an isolated existence (management never expressed any gratitude for what I did). Most of the staff (that has been there and stayed) are very caring and good at what they do. Management, on the other hand, is a complete joke. The residents do not come first in their eyes even though that is who they are ultimately working for. Activities are not posted (when they have them) and concerns/requests are not dealt with.

I love to visit this facility! It always smells warm and inviting. You should meet their staff! What sweet people live there and and work there!! It’s always alive with energy and fun activities. If ever you are looking for mom or dad or grandparents look no further than the Glenwood. It’s home.

The Glenwood Assisted Living of Mahomet was very good. The community was very well set up. The staff was tremendous when giving us the tour. They're very friendly and very helpful. We did see the residents doing an activity. There was a gentleman doing music and there was some kind of a sing-a-long. There were six to eight residents participating that day in that one activity.

The Glenwood location really impressed me. It’s very nice, pleasant, and homey. The staff is great and very attentive. The food is the one thing that I'm not real happy about, but Dad is cooking for himself. They have a van, a manicurist, and church every Sunday, plus lots of activities. I don’t have any issues with the staff, and the place seems very sufficient for what we need.
